Nowadays,promoting educational equity and realizing special education have become the needs of The Times.Most children with autism have trouble recognizing facial expressions.Augmented reality combines the real world with the virtual world,and its immersive interaction gives users an unprecedented experience.Based on this,countries are trying to apply augmented reality technology to the education of autistic children,trying to improve the facial expression recognition ability of autistic children through the intervention system based on augmented reality technology.However,in the research on the application of augmented reality technology in the education of autistic children,the overall framework of the intervention system for the facial expression recognition ability of autistic children based on augmented reality technology is still lacking.Currently,the number of augmented reality intervention systems for facial expression recognition in autistic children is small;The application of augmented reality intervention system in facial expression recognition ability of autistic children is lack of experimental evidence.After analyzing the deficiencies in existing studies,the questions of this study focus on two points:(1)how to design and implement the facial expression recognition intervention system for autistic children based on augmented reality technology?(2)is the intervention system based on augmented reality technology effective in improving the facial expression recognition ability of autistic children?This study sorted out the literature,defined the core concepts of augmented reality technology,autism spectrum disorder,facial expression recognition ability of autistic patients,and sorted out the theoretical basis of virtual epistemology,educational equity theory,situational teaching theory,etc.After analyzing the characteristics of augmented reality technology and autistic patients,it is determined that the application of augmented reality technology in education of autistic patients has a strong feasibility.The general framework of the facial expression recognition intervention system for autistic children based on augmented reality technology was constructed,and the facial expression recognition intervention system for autistic children based on augmented reality technology was designed and completed.After to test for children with autism facial expression recognition based on augmented reality ability intervention system for children with autism ability of the facial expression recognition is effective,this research adopts the single test of cross subjects more baseline design experiment,LinXiaZhou state special schools in gansu province three students as the research object,through interviews and across subjects multiple baseline design experiment method for experimental proof.The results showed that:(1)the facial expression recognition ability of the three subjects at baseline was low and stable;(2)the facial expression recognition ability of the three subjects significantly improved during the intervention period;(3)the scores of the three subjects all decreased during the follow-up period;(4)the overall level of the three subjects significantly improved.Conclusion:(1)the intervention system of facial expression recognition ability of autistic children based on augmented reality technology can promote the basic facial expression recognition ability of autistic children;(2)the intervention system of facial expression recognition ability of autistic children based on augmented reality technology has a certain persistence in the intervention results of basic facial expression recognition ability of autistic children.The innovation of this study lies in:(1)the intervention system of facial expression recognition ability of autistic children based on augmented reality technology is more interesting;(2)the intervention system for facial expression recognition ability of autistic children based on augmented reality technology is designed and developed based on augmented reality technology;(3)application process science of facial expression recognition ability intervention system for autistic children based on augmented reality technology.There are also many shortcomings in this study.The experimental research subjects of this study are few,the experimental time is short,and the intervention scope of the facial expression recognition ability intervention system of autistic children based on augmented reality technology is small.In the follow-up study,the intervention system in this study will be continuously improved to increase the number of experimental subjects and experimental time.
