The national policy documents related to the research travel curriculum have been issued frequently in recent years.In 2017,the Ministry of Education issued the guiding outline of the comprehensive practical activities curriculum in primary and secondary schools,which clearly included the research travel curriculum into the school teaching scope.However,there are a lot of problems in the process of curriculum development.Therefore,under the new round of curriculum reform,the improvement of the evaluation system of R & T course is also one of the important carriers to promote the development of quality education.Based on CIPP curriculum evaluation model,the evaluation object is divided into four dimensions:curriculum objective,curriculum content,and curriculum implementation process and curriculum implementation effect.By using the methods of literature,questionnaire and case analysis,combined with the practice of geography research travel in middle school,the current situation of its application in curriculum and teaching,and the related curriculum evaluation theory,the core quality research travel curriculum evaluation system is applied to the curriculum of "the southwest sea land ecotone-Beibu Gulf(Fangchenggang)research learning" from the geographical perspective.The results are as follows:(1)The two parts of curriculum objective and curriculum content evaluation are the background construction and product input of evaluation.Under the large-scale first level index of evaluation,four second level indexes are set up to divide the four second level indexes into different levels,and dual matrix method and expert scoring method are used to allocate the weight of curriculum objective and content index.(2)The evaluation of curriculum implementation process includes the safety of curriculum implementation,the evaluation of students' learning process,the selection and rating of the indicators of teachers'teaching evaluation;the evaluation subject is divided into the evaluation of students and the evaluation of teachers,in which the students'groups conduct mutual evaluation;the specific process of students'learning is recorded by using portfolio evaluation,and the original evaluation questionnaire is retrieved.Initial data for further analysis.(3)The effect evaluation of curriculum implementation includes the effect evaluation of research and learning implementation and the effect evaluation of students'core literacy training.Among them,the student achievement display evaluation divides the first level index "the implementation effect of research,study and travel course" into four second level evaluation indexes with corresponding level levels;the cultivation and evaluation of the students'core literacy ability outputs the research results through the observation of the four core literacy evaluation elements and the attribution ability.(4)Rasch model was selected to investigate and test the training effect index of geographical core literacy ability of students after the implementation of the research course.Two experts with geographical research background scored the observation index evaluation table,and analyzed the fitting index,error value,dispersion value and reliability value with bond & Fox analysis software.The results met the requirements of the model.(5)The case course "southwest sea land ecotone from the perspective of geography--Beibu Gulf(Fangchenggang)research and learning" is analyzed by the data collected by the above methods and procedures.It is at an excellent level in terms of research and learning curriculum objectives,at a good level in terms of curriculum content,at a good level in the process of curriculum implementation,and at a good level in terms of implementation effect the final evaluation result is identified as a good level.In the evaluation results,the author analyzes the opinions on the part of curriculum improvement,which is in line with the ultimate goal of curriculum improvement of CIPP.
