Expository text is one of the three styles,which occupies an important position in middle school C-hinese teaching.The Chinese curriculum standards for compulsory education(2011 edition)and the Chi-nese curriculum standards for ordinary senior high schools(2017 edition)clearly put forward the requir-ements of expository teaching.Expository teaching is of great importance in Chinese teaching in middl-e schools and plays an important role in cultivating students' Chinese literacy.This paper main body is composed of three chapters:The first chapter through the questionnaire survey to understand the present situation of Chinese ex-pository teaching in middle school,the problems existing in the summary exposition teaching and anal-yze the reasons.First,the author combed the student questionnaire and the teacher questionnaire.Secon-dly,the author summarizes the problems in Chinese expository teaching in middle schools from the stu-dents' and teachers' perspectives and discusses the causes.The second chapter verifies the importance of Chinese expository teaching method in middle schoo-1 through experiment.The experiment proves that the teaching of expository text with properteaching method is helpful to cultivate the students' Chinese accomplishment,the majority of teachers should att-ach importance to the teaching method of expository text,in the teaching of expository text,we should break the traditional teaching method and adopt the flexible and appropriate method.The third chapter studies the teaching records of famous Chinese teachers and the excellent teachin-g design of front-line teachers by case analysis,and summarizes some experience and methods of expo-sitory teaching.In addition,according to his own teaching experience,the author has carried on the tea-ching design to the expository text "society as a living thing" and has put forward the concrete expositor-y teaching method:chooses many kinds of teaching methods;Organizing students to study independent-ly;Practice practice and practice writing.The author hopes that the above research can provide some help for the first-line teachers' exposito-ry teaching and make some contribution to the improvement of expository teaching.
