Explanation text is a kind of style that objectively explains things and clarifies the reason.It has long been one of the important components of Chinese teaching in junior high school.Learning exposition can obtain knowledge from it,and exercise students ' thinking ability from the rigor of exposition content and structure.However,some explanatory articles are to explain scientific principles,explain the production process or introduce the building as the main performance content,its writing is plain,relatively speaking,in the vivid,image or interesting aspects slightly insufficient,make many students are not interested in their learning,the teaching efficiency is relatively low.Therefore,it is necessary to explore new teaching methods in the explanatory text teaching,to realize efficient teaching.The application of the thinking guide map can improve the current situation of the explanatory text teaching to a certain extent.As a visual learning tool,the thinking guide map can present students ' thinking activities in the form of a concise and clear chart,help students quickly master what they have learned,and form a knowledge system.Teachers applying the thinking map to illustration teaching can stimulate students 'interest in learning,help students to clarify the explanation content,and improve students' thinking ability.This paper takes the application research of thinking map in junior high school explanatory teaching,analyzes the feasibility and application value of thinking map,investigates the use of Chinese teachers and students,points out its problems,and tries to put forward the application strategy of thinking map in expository teaching.At the same time,the common methods of junior high school explanatory map are used in practical teaching to find practical and effective ways to improve the quality of explanatory teaching.
