Expository text as an important practical style of Chinese teaching in middle school,the main feature of which is "information transmission",is widely used in our daily life.If students can master certain expository reading strategies and have the ability to obtain expository information,they will be able to better adapt to the information age.However,in the current teaching of expository reading in junior high school,most of them ignore or lack of strategies to cultivate students' ability to acquire information,which has a serious impact on the formation of students' ability to acquire information.Therefore,how to break through the difficulties of expository reading teaching in junior high school and promote the improvement of students' ability to obtain information is a question worthy of discussion.On the basis of existing research,this paper focuses on cultivating students' ability to obtain information,using literature research methods and case analysis methods to study the teaching of junior high school expository text reading,and proposes strategies and teaching models for junior high school expository text reading teaching,in order to improve the effectiveness of the teaching of expository text reading in junior high schools,and cultivate students' ability to obtain information from expository text.The research is divided into five aspects.The introduction part mainly introduces the research reason,research significance,research status,research methods and innovation.The first chapter mainly explains the connotation,characteristics and significance of the ability to obtain information in expository text reading.It clarifies the connotation of the ability to obtain information by using relevant strategies,the three characteristics of comprehensiveness,comprehensiveness and application of information are obtained,the significance of cultivating students to obtain information t,improve reading ability,and thinking ability in explanatory text reading.The second chapter is the relevant theoretical basis for the cultivation of the ability to obtain information in expository text.The paper is based on Piaget's cognitive development theory,text structure analysis theory in reading psychology,and text reading processing theory,and expounds the feasibility of cultivating junior high school students' ability to obtain information in expository text.The third chapter puts forward the strategies of obtaining information in the teaching of expository text reading in junior high school,which are successively "the strategy of retrieving and screening information","the strategy of integrating and explaining information" and "the strategy of comprehensively applying information".After that,the strategy operation and teaching content of each strategy are subdivided,and then the teaching or thinking steps of each strategy operation are given.Finally,the teaching content of the two explanatory texts "Chinese Stone Arch Bridge" and "Suzhou Garden" are illustrated with examples.The fourth chapter is based on the study of the strategy of obtaining information in the teaching of expository text reading in junior high school in Chapter 3,constructing a junior high school explanatory text reading teaching model that "centers on the cultivation of the ability to obtain information",and using this teaching model to explain the teaching design of the two explanatory essays "Language of Nature" and "Two Short Essays by Asimov".
