At present,education in the information age has shifted from knowledge transfer to skill training.Stem education in the new stage is just an effective way to meet the needs of talent training in the new era,focusing on the cultivation of students' ability to solve practical problems and innovate in subject teaching.In recent years,stem education has become a hot topic of education reform in the world because of its effective response to the cultivation of students' key abilities in the 21st century.Many countries have launched stem education research.Foreign scholars have carried out a lot of teaching practice research on stem education from different perspectives,which proves that stem education has obvious effect in cultivating the ability of creatively using the knowledge learned to solve practical problems.Nowadays,inspired and influenced by the existing stem education research in the United States,China has made some progress in the development of stem education concept However,there are few research on teaching and practice in the field of stem education,and there is also a lack of micro research on stem education concept penetrating into a specific subject.As the basis of other natural science and engineering technology,physics is also a basic subject closely related to life and production.We think it is particularly suitable to infiltrate stem education concept into physics.For this reason,based on the comparative study of the physics textbooks in Senior High Schools between China and the United States,this paper analyzes the ways in which the physics textbooks in senior high schools in China and the United States permeate the stem education concept.Study a lot of literature,define stem education concept,and interpret it from the perspective of physics.At the same time,carry out physical stem teaching practice research,and design different forms of physical courses that permeate stem education concept,in order to provide reference for the design of physical stem courses that are suitable for China's national conditions and have Chinese characteristics.
