With the rapid development of the global economy and information explosion,more and more people are taking a broad educational view all around the world in the modern society.The low-age trend of studying abroad is becoming increasingly intensive,undergraduates or even high school students studying abroad have been accepted by more and more people.International education comparative study has become a hot topic in today's educational research.Physics is an important subject in high school which cultivates students' logical thinking abilities and science abilities.The comparison of Chinese and foreign physics is conducive to the educational development of our country,and it also plays a crucial role in the international education which is seriously lacking of educational resources at present.After graduating from the university,the author has worked as a teacher successively in the International Department of Yichang NO.1 High School which introduces A-level Course and the International High School Department of Tianwen International School which uses GAC curriculum system.Through four years of teaching research,the author chooses to conduct a comparative study of Chinese,English and American physics textbooks.The thesis mainly compares the content settings and arrangement sequence of the following three kinds of textbooks,which are the PEP edition of Physical Required 1,Cambridge International AS and A-level physics course book of United Kingdom Senior High School and Physics:Principles with Applications for AP of American High School.Taking the Chapter "Uniform Variable Rectilinear Motion" as an example,this paper conducts a comparative study from the aspects of curriculum standards,knowledge structures,introducing ways,module settings,as well as exercises and tests.Based on the the differences,advantages and disadvantages of these textbooks,and combined with his teaching experience,the author carries on the comparative study and puts forward some shallow suggestions for the current international physics class and China's physics curriculum reform.Through comparative research,I think we can enhance the teaching effect of the International physics classroom from the following aspects:(1)unlimited by the textbook,refer to other textbooks and help the students to construct their knowledge system,supplement and perfect the students' knowledge framework;(2)Cultivate the students'academic abilities,make use of modern educational technologies to enrich the classroom and cultivate the students' manipulative abilities;(3)Multi-layered teaching,teach students according to their aptitude,and gradually improve the abilities of the students with difficulties in their study.I think the physical textbooks in China can be improved in the following aspects:(1)enrich the textbook's content,learn relevant knowledge from the phenomenon in life,and understand the application of modern technologies at the front edge;(2)Cultivate the students' manipulative abilities,improve their scientific qualities;(3)Increase the instrumentality of the textbook,increase the number of the exercises after class and their practicability for the convenience of the self-evaluation of the students;(4)make the evaluation method scientific and varied,pay attention to the practical application of basic knowledge.
