The history of science is the process of the origin,development and evolution of science,which includes the evolution of many scientific concepts and scientific laws and methods,reflects the thoughts and methods of scientists in exploring the unknown world,and can show the efforts and hardships in the process of scientific inquiry.The rich educational value contained in the history of science has a certain guiding significance for cultivating students' spirit of scientific inquiry and core accomplishment.By learning the history of science,students can further learn the basic principles and methods of chemistry,form the core concepts of chemistry,and understand the nature of science.Besides,the teaching suggestion of the new curriculum standard of chemistry also mentioned that the history of science is a valuable scene material,which fully affirmed the educational value and function of the history of science.Therefore,the application of the history of science to the chemistry teaching and the use of the value of the history of science will greatly benefit students in mastering their knowledge of chemistry and developing their core chemistry accomplishment.The purpose of this study is to cultivate the students' chemistry core accomplishment in the history of science.Firstly,on the basis of a large amount of reading and analysis of the literatures,the author understands the research status of the education and core literacy of the history of science at home and abroad,defines the purpose and significance of the research,and determines the research ideas and methods,using a combination of theory and practice for research.At the same time,based on the compulsory high school chemistry textbook published by the people's education edition,this paper analyzes the characteristics of the content of the history of science,and elaborates the classification of the history of science from the perspective of core accomplishment On this basis,according to the selection principle and application strategy of scientific history materials,and the four-line teaching process.The contents of "Elements Enriched in Seawater-Chlorine","Two Chemical Raw Materials from Petroleum and Coal-Benzene" and "Dispersion System and Classification" were selected for specific case studies of science history and the teaching practice is carried out,so as to test the teaching effect.Through the questionnaire surveys and interviews after class,students and teachers' views and evaluations on the teaching of the history of science were understood.The results show that students are full of interest in the content of the history of science and recognize the value of it.They believe that the study of the history of science is helpful to master knowledge and can broaden their horizons and increase their knowledge.Most teachers agree with the educational function and value of the history of science.Therefore,the introduction of appropriate scientific history content in teaching can promote the cultivation of core accomplishment of students in chemistry.
