Social development can not be separated from the participation of children,child participation is not only the basic power of children,but also an important way for children to achieve social development.The areas in which children are currently involved are mainly at the community level,with less participation in other areas,especially at the educational level.Children's participation in the field of education is mainly passive participation,teachers in the classroom one-way output of knowledge,students in the classroom to learn and accept knowledge,teachers represent the authority of knowledge,students in the classroom in a weak participation.Participatory Planning Classes in this paper are an innovation and an attempt on educational methods.Social workers join them and use them from their own our professional knowledge and practical experience change the traditional way of education and promote children's subjective participation consciousness.Therefore,this study takes the participatory classroom of a middle school in Beijing as the research object,and 8 students as the observation object.With the help of the perspective of role theory,participatory development theory and critical pedagogy theory,it discusses how social workers can play the role of educator and facilitator,improve children's ability in participatory planning,and better promote their subjectivity in social development.The study used qualitative research methods to collect data through participatory observation and interviews.The study found that social workers can play the role of educator and facilitator to promote children the promotion of children's participation consciousness and ability,and the exertion of children's subjectivity.This study focuses on the practical experience of social workers in improving children's participation ability and provides reference suggestions for social workers' practice.
