With the progress of society and the development of the times,the new curriculum reform requires the teaching and learning of mathematics to be closely integrated with real life,and the teaching and learning of mathematics application questions is particularly important.The article first analyzes the proportion of application questions in the eighth grade in Jilin Province in the last five years,and finds that the proportion of eighth-grade math application questions in the middle school examination is increasing year by year,so it is necessary to study the teaching strategy of the eighth grade mathematics application questions.At the same time,the psychological characteristics of eighth grade students and the status of mathematics application problems in the eighth grade teaching materials are analyzed,and found that the position of mathematics application problems in the eighth grade textbooks is becoming more and more important,and the teaching of the eighth-grade mathematics application problems in the middle test should be paid attention to.However,the psychological characteristics of eighth-grade students lead to the students' subjective initiative of learning application questions is not strong.Based on this contradiction,168 students in eighth grade were surveyed using questionnaires and math application test papers.Through the questionnaire to understand the students' attitude towards the application of mathematics problems,learning methods,learning effects and so on.Use the application test volume to understand the specific obstacles that students encounter when solving the eighth-grade application questions.Using content analysis to analyze each question in the application test volume,the data show that the main obstacles to solving the math application problems are: psychological disorder,math reading disorder,mathematical model barrier,and dyslexia.Combined with students' learning disabilities,the paper analyzes the causes of various learning disabilities and puts forward the teaching strategies that teachers can adopt in teaching.Including: 1,Increase confidence in solving the application of the problem,overcome psychological obstacles;2,Improve reading comprehension,clear data relations;3,Pay attention to modeling ideas,cultivate modeling ability;4,Pay attention to computing skills,pay attention to the relationship between the results and the actual situation.
