In the sixth grade mathematics teaching,the application problem,as a difficult point i n the primary school mathematics teaching,occupies an important position in the whole te aching.For a long time,teachers have spent a lot of time in the teaching of applied prob lems,but the results have been little.Especially to the sixth grade,the comprehensive mat hematics application problem is relatively strong,covering all the knowledge points of pri mary school,some students with weak foundation,in the sixth grade this stage of learningresults directly decline,can not keep up with the pace of the large army.Therefore,the purpose of this study is to investigate the current situation of the sixth grade application p roblem solving,analyze the reasons for the difficulty of solving the sixth grade applicationproblem in depth,and aim at the causes of the mistakes Find out more reasonable teac hing strategies and methods,so as to make students accurately grasp the key to solve pro blems,so as to improve the ability of students in the sixth grade of primary school to so lve practical problems;and expect the research results to have a certain reference value fo r the first-line teachers in teaching application.Based on the Y primary school in jian city as an example,this study collected the w rong questions of the local sixth grade primary school students’ daily application questionsthrough literature method,interview method,case analysis method and experience summar y method,and collected 6 sets of standard test papers of education bureau to carry on theresearch.In-depth investigation of the sixth grade primary school students problem solvin g problems and analysis of the reasons.The main reasons for the problems are students’ o wn factors and teachers’ factors.Students’ aspects are mainly reflected in the lack of readi ng level,which leads to the difficulty of examining questions;lack of life experience,una ble to understand the mathematical relationship in the questions;do not pay attention to c alculation,easy to appear calculation errors Not very good at summing up learning meth ods and problem solving strategies are not effective enough to lead to students problem so lving difficulties.Teachers are mainly reflected in the inaccurate grasp of teaching objectiv es,the lack of flexibility of teaching methods and the lack of reflection.The main aspectsof teaching materials are that the mathematical concept is not properly expressed,the keycontent is not obvious,the conclusion is ignored,and the students’ life experience is ign ored.The reasons for these problems are analyzed and relevant countermeasures and sugge stions are put forward.
