Teachers' professional identity is not a process but also a state,which gradually formed by the surrounding environment such as individual,school and policy.It is not stable and can change with the environment.Through the teachers' professional identity,the education managers can realize teachers' needs,mobilize the teachers' enthusiasm,improve the teaching quality,and strengthen the construction of the teacher team.Based on a large number of documents,this study takes teachers' professional identity as the theoretical basis.It uses literature,questionnaire and interview to realize the overall situation of high school teachers' professional identity and its influencing factors in Zijin,a mountain area of northern Guangdong Province.The study shows that its high school teachers have high professional identity.There are differences in gender,age,marital status,professional title,teaching age,teaching grade,teaching hours and post,while there are no significant differences in professional identity among teachers with different educational background and teaching subjects.The reasons why high school teachers' professional identity differs in these different factors are due to the busy work,the difficulty in evaluating and hiring professional titles,the differences in work pressure and opinions.Therefore,teachers release personal pressure,wake up personal career emotion,and adjust career attitude.School should strengthen the management communication and coordination with teachers,improve the incentive methods of teachers,and attach importance to the training of middle-level leadership.The policy about the spirit of respecting teachers and the professional title appraisal should be considered.
