In the process of the continuous reform of the new curriculum,our country has accumulated some experience in basic education and has made some achievements.However,as far as the overall progress of curriculum reform is concerned,examination(test)is the main way of educational measurement and the basis of teaching evaluation,and the reform of educational evaluation system is still lagging behind.At present,the way of educational measurement tests(tests)is more about identifying and selecting students with better grades,or that they reflect the function of final evaluation.This single method of educational measurement and evaluation is not only not conducive to students to learn geography to establish self-confidence,but also not conducive to the improvement of the professional level of geography teachers and the improvement of teaching strategies and methods.If we can be on the basis of the original final evaluation,according to local conditions,combined with the specific situation of the formation of evaluation,not only can guarantee the quality of teaching,but also as far as possible according to the actual situation of each student to stimulate students' enthusiasm for learning,teaching according to their talents,so that it can get real and stable improvement.This study mainly uses literature research method,questionnaire survey method,interview method and statistical analysis method.By consulting the relevant literature,this paper expounds the core concepts of formative evaluation and final evaluation,and summarizes the current situation of research at home and abroad,and determines the research direction of the thesis in view of the current research deficiencies.This study mainly takes the students and geography teachers of the eight schools participating in the high school geography examination in Lhasa City as the research object,takes the high school geography examination as the starting point of the research,carrys out the questionnaire survey and interview survey on the influence and understanding and function of the high school geography test in the high school geography examination.Some geography teachers have a lack of cognition of formative evaluation,and there are many shortcomings in the final evaluation itself,according to these problems obtained through the investigation,and combined with the relevant literature analysis,put forward the concept and method of learning formative evaluation,promote the implementation of the formative evaluation,improve the existing final evaluation deficiencies,the formation evaluation and the final evaluation play a common role of the corresponding countermeasures and suggestions.
