The Comparative Research On College Entrance Examination In China And Russia

College Entrance Examination is a form of talent selection in many countries.This standardized examination is the premise of entering higher education institutions,it is an important part of the education system and plays a key role in talent selection.In this way it impacts not only education system but also science,economy and life of each individual.China and Russia have carried out some reforms in the college entrance examination in recent years.The reform of the college entrance examination is a frequently discussed topic in both countries.This paper uses comparative method to discuss the similarities and differences of the college entrance examination between China and Russia,trying to distinguish strengths and shortcomings of the examination systems in both countries,so as to learn from each other's experience and promote the development and cooperation in the field of education.This research is divided into six parts.The first chapter introduces the background,literature review,research purposes,research methods and ideas of the two countries' college entrance examination.The second chapter is related to the college entrance examination in China,its history,new reforms and the reasons for the reforms.The third chapter provides detailed information about the unified state examination in Russia,the reasons for the implementation of the unified examination,the content of the examination and critics of the examination in society.The fourth chapter is a comparative analysis of college entrance examination system in China and Russia.This chapter introduces the similarities,differences and problems of the entrance examination in China and Russia.The fifth chapter analyses several factors that influence the differences of college entrance examination in China and Russia,including cultural,historical,economic and demographic factors.The sixth chapter puts forward some suggestions on how to improve the college entrance examination system in both countries.China and Russia are constantly carrying out the reform of college entrance examination.The goals of both countries are the same: to make the exam fair,scientific and more variable,but the trends of reform in the two countries are going in the opposite direction with Russia now implementing the more centralized system and China giving students more freedom and diversity.
