Mathematics learning self-efficacy is the application of Bandura's self-efficacy theory in mathematics learning. In recent years, many achievements have been made in the static research of self-efficacy in specific subjects at home and abroad. But the research of dynamic self-efficacy is relatively scarce. In this study, interview, test and experiment were used to explore the short-term changes of mathematics learning self-efficacy of junior two students under different task difficulty. In the first experiment, the subjects were randomly divided into two groups. The self-efficacy was measured before and after the task and one week after the task. The results showed that:(1)in the simple task group, the self-efficacy intensity of the subjects at the end of the task was significantly higher than that of the subjects before the task.In the difficult task group, the self-efficacy intensity of the subjects at the end of the task was significantly lower than that of the subjects before the task.(2)There was no significant difference in self-efficacy intensity and pre task between the two groups after one week.In Experiment 2,subjects with different self-efficacy beliefs were given simple or difficult learning tasks to measure self-efficacy before and after the task and after one week interval. The results showed that:(1)under the condition of simple task, the increasing range of self-efficacy of low efficiency belief subjects was higher than that of high efficiency belief subjects.(2)Under the condition of difficult task, the self-efficacy of low efficiency belief subjects decreased less than that of high efficiency belief subjects.(3)There was no significant difference in self-efficacy between all the subjects after one week interval and before task.
