With the publication of the 2017 version of the high school biology curriculum standards,in the context of the new round of high school biology curriculum reform in China,the focus of educational research is no longer focused on improving students’ achievements,and at the same time making new suggestions for teachers’ teaching methods The traditional spoon-feeding teaching has gradually been abandoned,and front-line teachers have begun to try to apply new teaching methods to high school biology classrooms.The exemplification teaching method is a relatively mature teaching method from abroad,and its proposed background has certain similarities with the current background of the new curriculum reform in my country.This study applies the exemplification teaching model to high school biology teaching practice,and explores whether the application of the exemplification teaching method can change students’ learning attitudes,improve students’ independent learning and problem-solving ability,and can cultivate students to apply what they have learned in practice The skill of life.First of all,through research and analysis of various documents,the specific meaning of the model teaching model and related teaching theories are analyzed.Then,through the distribution of online questionnaires,we surveyed the application of paradigm teaching models by some first-line biology teachers in Chongqing.Finally,a total of 93 students from Class(3)and Class(6),Grade 1,Tianxingqiao Middle School in Chongqing were taken as the research objects.The teaching content of Molecules and Cells,a compulsory course for senior middle school students,class(3)is used as the experimental class,and class(6)is used as the control class.Exemplification teaching is carried out in the experimental class,regular teaching is carried out in the control class,and a four-month teaching practice study is carried out.Used research methods such as questionnaire survey,observation,and statistical analysis,the following results were obtained:1.Senior high school biology teachers think that the exemplification teaching method can not achieve the desired effect.After the exemplification teaching,studentscannot fully understand the exemplification,and it is difficult to make an analogy.2.Before the teaching practice,in terms of interest and attitudes in biology learning,the average score of the students in the control class in the questionnaire was 41.26,and the average score in the experimental class was 41.16.The difference in the pretest scores of the two classes was not significant(P=0.92 >0.05);after using the exemplification teaching model,the average score of the control class is 42.11,and the average score of the experimental class is 45.74.The post-test score of the experimental class is significantly higher than that of the control class,the difference is significant(P=0.000<0.05).Explain that paradigm teaching can help increase students’ interest in biology and correct students’ attitudes towards learning.3.Before the teaching practice,in terms of the structure of biological knowledge,the average score of the students in the control class in the questionnaire was 30.89,and the average score in the experimental class was 30.66.The difference was not significant(P=0.602>0.05);The average score of the control class is 31.57,and the average score of the experimental class is 34.20.The post-test scores of the students in the experimental class on the mastery of biological knowledge are significantly higher than the students in the control class,the difference is significant(P=0.001<0.05).Explain that exemplification teaching can strengthen students’ mastery of biological knowledge,and to a certain extent can cultivate students’ ability to analyze and solve problems.4.Through the daily observation of teachers,it is found that the application of the model teaching model has significantly improved the enthusiasm of the students in the experimental class,and they are more willing to exchange biological knowledge in life with the teachers after class.Explain that exemplification teaching has improved students’ thinking ability and ability to apply knowledge.Finally,through reflection and discussion,this study proposes a strategy for effectively applying the paradigm teaching model in high school biology teaching,hoping to provide some reference for the high school biology first-line teachers to apply the paradigm teaching model.
