With the continuous development of educational exchanges between China and South Korea,Chinese has become the most popular second language subject among South Korean students,with the largest number of participants besides English.The extensive development of Chinese vocabulary teaching in South Korea's senior high schools plays a very important role in promoting the development of Chinese teaching and the spread of Chinese culture,which helps to expand the efficiency of the allocation of advantageous educational resources and establish a variety of Chinese education models to meet the goal of innovative personnel training in the new era.However,there are still a series of problems in the practice of Chinese vocabulary teaching in senior high school,which leads to the inhibition of the development of Chinese teaching and even the deviation from the original intention of TCFL.Therefore,it is necessary to strengthen the research of Chinese vocabulary teaching,explore new ways and methods of education according to the actual needs of teaching,and use learning strategies scientifically,so that the Chinese vocabulary teaching can be further developed.Based on this background,this study explores the problems of Chinese vocabulary teaching in Korean senior high schools.Taking Tanggu high school in Seoul as an example,this study adopts the methods of literature research,case study and investigation.From the perspective of teachers' teaching,students' acquisition and textbook arrangement,it comprehensively understands the current situation of Chinese vocabulary teaching in Tanggu high school in Seoul,South Korea,and analyzes the existing problems in Chinese vocabulary teaching in Tanggu high school in Seoul,South Korea And put forward the targeted learning strategies from the perspective of cognitive theory.This study is divided into six parts.The first part introduces the research background of this paper,and extracts the research content and research strategy from the summary of related research results at home and abroad.The second part mainly introduces the main viewpoints of cognitive psychology and the cognitive process of vocabulary learning of language learners,which settle a theoretical foundation for the research work.The third part is the current situation and problems of Chinese vocabulary teaching in South Korea.To have a comprehensive understanding of the vocabulary teaching situation of Korean Chinese teachers,the vocabulary acquisition situation of Korean students,and the arrangement and existing problems of Korean Chinese textbooks.The fourth part is the analysis of the causes of the problems in Chinese vocabulary teaching in South Korea.The fifth part is the suggestions of Chinese vocabulary teaching in Korean senior high school under the guidance of cognitive theory.First of all,at the level of teachers' teaching,there are some problems,such as neglecting students' perception and experience,neglecting the connotation and situation coding of vocabulary,lack of vocabulary practice,and can not repeatedly using and extracting the taught words.In terms of students' acquisition,there are some problems such as weak interest in Chinese vocabulary learning,heavy learning burden,inadequate understanding of vocabulary,single way of vocabulary accumulation,low extraction of vocabulary utilization rate and so on.In the aspects of vocabulary arrangement,there are some problems,such as lack of context and cultural background knowledge,incomplete explanation of the meaning of vocabulary,lack of focus and form of vocabulary practice.Through the analysis of these problems,the corresponding solutions are put forward.First of all,teachers should strengthen the study of theoretical knowledge,construct the network model of vocabulary,pay attention to the context teaching of vocabulary,increase the way of vocabulary practice and strengthen the interaction with students.Secondly,students' interest in Chinese learning should be enhanced,meta-cognitive strategies should be developed,extensive reading should be enhanced and vocabulary communication should be strengthened.Finally,in terms of Chinese vocabulary arrangement,we should add the content arrangement of extended meaning of vocabulary,increase the explanation of vocabulary related culture and pay attention to vocabulary reproduction and vocabulary practice,so as to make the high school Chinese vocabulary teaching in South Korea develop more efficiently.
