Scientific reasoning is a cognitive development to the formal operational stage when children or adults can get reasoning ability,in the formal operational stage of children's thinking is no longer depends on the perceived things,can solve problems through hypothetical reasoning,and has a certain ability of hypothetical reasoning,which directly affects students' ability to think,learn and solve problems independently in daily life.In order to understand and further improve the scientific reasoning ability of high school students,the author used a questionnaire designed by professor Lawson to measure the scientific reasoning ability to test the high school students of two different schools.SPSS 21.0 was used to analyze the overall gender difference in the test results from four aspects,the nature of junior high school and the sub-dimensions of students,and the following conclusions were obtained:(1)On the whole,with the development of the society,the scientific reasoning ability of high school students in these two schools is higher than that of the previous test subjects,but there is a common phenomenon that the development of the scientific reasoning ability of the test subjects is not balanced.This stage of the student just have the certain scientific reasoning ability,the ability to also have certain strangeness,and because some of the mind-set,not accurate in this age stage show have the corresponding ability.Therefore,in the process of teachers' daily teaching and guidance,it is necessary to carry out some specific targeted teaching and training for the students.(2)For the students' sub-dimensional abilities,the reasoning ability of mass and volume conservation is well mastered and the performance is relatively stable,because this ability corresponds to the specific operation stage of the theory in the cognitive stage,and the students have basically mastered it.Proportional reasoning variable control thinking ability to master more times,and the probability proportional reasoning and variable control and ratio method of control variables in the process of students' learning method,learning method of students' ability to master degree and student understand master degree has a certain relationship,and probability thinking ability is the high school mathematics knowledge,students at this stage is vulnerable to the outside world and its interference,more conducive to your own answer,also have certain influence to its ability to master.Correlation between thinking and thedegree of master of hypothesis deductive ability is relatively low,hypothesis deductive ability is because at this stage,students just for its ability to master is not skilled,the thought is still in a stage,and there is no good to complete the transition,the teachers in the teaching process,teachers can properly guide students to connect the information they already know with the information they don't know,so as to establish a relationship to help them understand and understand new things,and at the same time cultivate students' corresponding ability.(3)From the questionnaire results,the gender difference between male and female students has no significant impact on their scientific reasoning ability,and even the test results of female students are slightly stronger than that of male students in some aspects.In addition,the test results of female students are more stable on the whole,but the boy's performance is compared with relatively scattered before the conclusion and the conclusion of the researchers.(4)The character of junior high school,namely the character of the school that gets pedagogue is in when junior high school,cent is key middle school or blame key middle school.This factor also has a certain influence on the reasoning ability of students.The survey results show that the scientific reasoning ability of students studying in key middle schools is generally higher than that of students studying in non-key middle schools.According to the results of the investigation,the paper puts forward targeted strategies for cultivating students' corresponding ability,and in order to improve students' corresponding reasoning ability,four chapters of "law of conservation of energy "," acceleration "," exploring the relationship between acceleration and force and mass" and "free falling motion" in the physics course of senior high school are selected to make the teaching design,which can provide reference for the teaching practice of first-line teachers.
