Scientific reasoning ability is one of the important elements of scientific thinking,and its development status largely restricts the development of scientific thinking.High school physics is a course in the field of scientific learning and an important way to cultivate students' scientific reasoning ability.Therefore,in order to cultivate the scientific reasoning ability of high school students,it is necessary to understand the current situation of high school students' s cientific reasoning ability and the teaching status of high school physics teachers.Only by understanding the status quo can the effect of scientific reasoning ability training be provided.Based on the existing research,this paper defines the ability of scientific reasoning,based on Piaget's theory of children's cognitive development stage,The study concludes that “scientific reasoning is the process of inducting and deducting scientific facts,through a series of activities,such as discovering problems,proposing hypotheses,designing experiments,evaluating evidence and interpreting inferences,and finally solving the problematic thinking process in this series.The intrinsic thinking ability and skills required in the activity are the scientific reasoning ability”.Bruner's “discovery learning” theory and related educational theories,on scientific reasoning and science.The reasoning ability training was carried out rationally.On this basis,the high school students' scientific reasoning ability test volume and the teacher's status questionnaire were compiled.Through the comparative analysis of the current situation of students' ability and the current situation of teachers' teaching,the high school physics teachers were analyzed in scientific reasoning.Insufficient ability training,and put forward corresponding teaching suggestions and feasible teaching cases.Through the investigation and research of the high school students' scientific reasoning ability,the current status is as follows:(1)The high school students' scientific reasoning ability is relatively low.(2)The scientific reasoning ability of the second-year students is significantly higher than that of the first year.(3)The scientific reasoning ability of boys is significantly higher than that of girls.(4)High school students' scientific reasoning ability is moderately related to science scores.Although there are many factors that influence the scientific reasoning ability of high school students,it is their education and the practical activities they participate in determining their ability to develop.By comparing the teaching status of high school physics teachers with the current situation of high school students' scientific reasoning ability,this study can draw the following conclusions:high school physics teachers have insufficient mastery of scientific reasoning,and inappropriate teaching methods for scientific reasoning ability training The poor implementation of the training of scientific reasoning ability is the reason for the relatively low scientific reasoning ability of high school students.
