Scientific thinking is the key part of biological core literacy,and also the key factor for students to have the ability to analyze and solve problems.The history of biological science contains many research paths of scientists,which contain abundant scientific ideas and methods,and is a good material for developing students' scientific thinking.With the development of education,the teaching of history of science and the development of students' scientific thinking have attracted the attention of teachers,but the problem of lack of corresponding teaching strategy guidance is widespread.Based on the theory and teaching practice,this paper puts forward the teaching strategies of developing students' scientific thinking by applying the history of Science:creating situations,enlightening interests;guiding problems,activating thinking;building models,developing thinking;exploring experiments,deepening thinking;designing experiments,innovating thinking;encouraging questioning,criticizing thinking.In order to test the effect of teaching strategies,a practical research on "the application of science history in the development of students' scientific thinking" was carried out in Xu Zhou No.2 middle school.The experimental group(Class 3)adopted the teaching strategies proposed in this paper,while the control group(Class 4)adopted the original teaching methods.The changes of scientific thinking before and after the practice of the two classes were analyzed by three means: scientific thinking test paper,scientific thinking scale and classroom observation record.The test results of the test paper and the thinking scale are the same.The pre-test results show that there is no significant difference in the scientific thinking level between the two classes before practice.The post test results show that the scientific thinking level of the experimental class after practice is significantly higher than that of the control class.The comparative analysis of the pre-test and the post test shows that the development of scientific thinking of the students in the experimental class during practice is better than that of the control class.The results of classroom record comparison show that the questions,expressions and atmosphere of the experimental class are better than those of the control class,which also confirms the test results of the test paper and the thought scale.Based on the analysis of the process and results of this practice,it is concluded that applying the teaching strategies proposed in this paper to the teaching of the history of biological science can play a positive role in the development of students' scientific thinking.Combined with the research situation,the teaching suggestions are put forward: attach importance to the application of the history of Biological Science in the development of students' scientific thinking,and teachers should strengthen their own learning.
