New curriculum reform asks for improving every senior high school student’s levels of biological science literacy. While the knowledge of Genetics and Evolution is on a high degree of abstractness; it has a strong logicality and includes kinds of important scientific research methods and it’s close to the real life. So it’s better to carry the training goal of improving students’ biological science literacy. Besides, this module is also the important part in the college entrance examination, but its practical teaching efficiency is not so good. In the practical of this module, teachers teaching hard and students learning hard are common phenomena. Therefore, the practical research on teaching strategy of Genetics and Evolution(PEP) is of great practical significance.This research has referred to a large number of pertinent literatures. It sums up the conception of. And it summarizes the development of the model and the scientific history of instructional strategy. Based on this theory, this thesis adopts the educational experimentation to improve the practical research. According to the teaching objectives, teaching materials, students and teachers, this thesis has designed a teaching strategy combined by mathematical model, physical model and the scientific history of teaching. In consideration of the education fairness, this thesis develops educational practice on the evolution part(PEP Chapter 1 to 4) in the method of group by group. There are 6 tests, and students’ grades were collected to be the educational practice data. At the same time, this thesis has displayed and analyzed three typical application cases in the educational practice. The research result indicates that the combination of the three teaching strategies in the Genetics and Evolution has a positive effect on improving students’ grades. Because it can motivate students’ thirst for knowledge, cultivate their keen interest in studying, break through the teaching focus effectively, achieve the teaching objectives, improve the students’ method of learning biology and their grades, give the rein to students’ subjectivity, develop students’ thinking ability, and improve teachers’ teaching skills and make the teaching more effectively.There are some suggestions as follows to the combination of the three kinds of teaching strategies. First, as for carrying out the scientific history of teaching strategy, it can add some scientific history correctly that the textbook hasn’t referred to and it can use the scientific history appropriately to improve teachers’ scientific literacy. Second, as for the model of teaching strategy, it can improve teachers’ focus on the model of teaching strategy; it can also make teachers pay more attention to students’ models built by themselves, good at using different models, lay stress on the application of the combination of several teaching strategies. And teachers should give their students evaluations in time in the process of learning.
