The purpose of physics exercise teaching is not only to get the answer,but also to improve student's scientific thinking and problem solving ability.Model construction is an important way of scientific thinking,teachers guides the students to solve physics exercises by using thinking way of model construction,this will help improve student's scientific thinking and problem solving ability.In chapter 1,literature research method was applied to extensively search literatures at home and abroad based on the meta-modeling and the physical model application,so as to provide theoretical support and practical guidance for the research;In chapter 2,based on the literature review,defines two related concepts: physical model and exercise teaching.In addition,three supporting theories are sought for practical research on model construction in exercise teaching: constructivism theory,learning transfer theory and problem solving theory.In chapter 3,a questionnaire survey was conducted based on the SPSS statistical software to analyze the model construction level of three classes.The results showed that:(1)the majority of students were unqualified in model construction ability.(2)The Pearson product difference correlation analysis between the model construction achievement and the comprehensive achievement shows that there is a significant positive correlation between the two,and the improvement of model construction ability is conducive to the improvement of the comprehensive achievement.(3)Independent sample t-test was carried out for male and female students,and the result showed that there was no significant difference.In chapter 4,Several steps of problem solving are proposed: problem representation-model establishment(object model,process model,mathematical model)-selection principle-interpretation and prediction –feedback and evaluation.Two teaching case designs of "circular motion in life" and "conservation of mechanical energy" are given.In chapter 5,the research results are summarized and expected,And the deficiencies are analyzed.
