Research On The Media Anomie Of Young Women’s Sexual Assault From The Perspective Of Journalism

Because of the sensitivity of the topic,sexual assault incidents were rarely reported in a relatively conservative domestic environment.In recent years,sexual assault incidents of young women have increased.The Didi Shunfeng car flight attendant murder case,Bao Yuming’s sexual assault and the adopted daughter incident and other sexual assault incidents have entered the public eye with news reports,arousing high social attention on the topic of sexual assault.Although journalism professionalism requires journalists to adhere to the principles of objectiveness,neutrality,independence,truthfulness,fairness and balance in reporting,in response to the current anomie in sexual assault reports,journalism professionalism should keep pace with the times while playing its role.Enhance its adaptability to media sexual assault reports and strengthen media sexual assault reports norms.Therefore,this article attempts to explore the anomie in reports of young women’s sexual assault from the perspective of journalism professionalism.The main part of this article first discusses the origin and development of journalism professionalism in the West,the adaptation and difficulties encountered by journalism professionalism in our country,and the advancement of journalism professionalism in the current society.Features are introduced.Aiming at the problem of anomie in the reports of young women’s sexual assault,this article counts the background of the incidents of young women’s sexual assault reports published by the media from 2018 to 2020,the trend of the number of reports,the length of the report,and the theme of the report.At the same time,taking typical incidents as examples to discuss the anomie in the reports of young women’s sexual assault,focusing on the anomie phenomenon in the "Didi flight attendant murder case" and "Bao Yuming’s sexual assault incident",as well as the anomie discourse in the report.Subsequently,it analyzes the performance of the anomie problem in violation of the principles of journalism professionalism,and the cause and impact of the anomie problem.Studies have found that under the influence of factors such as institutional norms,social thoughts,and professionalism,the media may encounter problems of anomie that violates the principles of objective neutrality,which not only causes secondary harm to victims of sexual assault,but may also damage the credibility of the media.The public’s awareness of sexual assault and gender equality prevents the public from clearly understanding the social environment.Therefore,this article puts forward suggestions on the regulation of young women’s sexual assault reports.In order to strengthen the media’s journalistic professionalism,the industry should improve the normative system inside and outside the industry to ensure that the media is objective and neutral,improve the professional ethics of journalists,enhance professional competence,and maintain a fair and balanced report..At the same time,journalism professionalism should continue to improve its concepts with social development,strengthen the requirements for professional self-discipline of media practitioners,and enhance its value.This article hopes to help improve the way the media reports on young women’s sexual assaults,enhance the media’s professional awareness of journalism,strengthen the practice of journalism education and journalism training,and promote academic research on journalistic professionalism and sexual assault reports.
