The "General High School Chinese Curriculum Standards(2017 Edition 2020Revision)" regards "thinking development and improvement" as one of the core literacy goals,pointing out the direction of students' thinking training.Among them,the "speculative reading and expression" learning task group clarifies the speculative nature of students' reading,and also puts forward clear teaching requirements for teachers.Among the Chinese textbooks compiled for high school,the speculative nature of the ancient essays is particularly prominent.The study of speculative reading teaching for the ancient Chinese textbooks compiled for high school is aimed at combining theory,text and practice,putting forward suggested strategies,further strengthening the cultivation of speculative ability,and promoting the development of students' thinking.This article consists of four parts.The first part is an overview.First,distinguish and analyze the related concepts of ancient essays and speculative reading.Secondly,it analyzes the relevance of ancient essays and speculative reading in terms of the requirements of the curriculum standard,the stylistic characteristics of ancient essays,and the thinking characteristics of high school students.Finally,based on the analysis of concepts and relevance,the definition and value of the teaching of speculative reading in ancient essays are explained.The second part analyzes the speculative connotation of compulsory high school Chinese textbooks,and provides a textual basis for determining the speculative reading teaching strategies of ancient discourses.Firstly,it sorts out the arrangement of ancient essays in the compulsory textbooks and its speculative characteristics.Secondly,combined with specific texts,it analyzes the speculative characteristics of ancient essays in language details,overall structure,partial narrative methods,and ideological subjects in the compulsory textbooks for high school.The third part is the investigation of the current situation,which provides a realistic basis for determining the teaching strategies of speculative reading in ancient essays.The author collected data from three middle schools,analyzed the survey results in detail,and summarized the current problems in the teaching of ancient discourses from the two levels of teaching and learning.The fourth part,based on the above concept definition,text analysis,and status quo analysis,proposes four strategies for text optimization,problem intensification,thinking training,and expansion and extension of the ancient argumentative reading teaching.
