As one of the important content dimensions of chemistry core literacy,"evidential reasoning and model cognition" has become a hot topic in current chemistry education research.Literature shows that scholars have carried out a lot of research focusing on model cognition level measurement and modeling teaching.Researching the influencing factors of model cognition has become the key point to break through the research topic of model cognition.Therefore,the study explores the influence of model concept on the model cognition level of high school students,in order to put forward some suggestions on the cultivation of students’ model cognition ability.The study combs and reviews the literature and research related to model concept,defines the connotation of model concept,starts from the connotation of model concept,conducts localization modification on the basis of the existing model concept questionnaire,and makes it more close to the way of thinking of high school students.According to the model cognition level and the related literature research of galvanic cell,the connotation of model cognition level was defined,the galvanic cell model cognition level was divided,and the electrochemical model cognition level questionnaire was developed according to the specific performance of different levels.Then,340 senior high school students from three ordinary high schools in Shandong province were selected as the research objects,and the model concept questionnaire and the galvanic model cognition level questionnaire were used to carry out the measurement.The survey data were collected,the questionnaires were corrected and assigned scores,and valid questionnaires were screened according to the answers.SPSS 21.0 was used for data quantification and management to grasp students’ model concepts and model cognition level.AMOS 18.0 was used for data analysis to explore the influence of high school students’ model concepts on their model cognition level.Finally,according to the questionnaire survey,the research conclusions are summarized and the teaching suggestions are put forward.The results show that :(1)The model concept of high school students has no significant influence on the choice of galvanic cell model and the level of model extension;(2)The model concept of high school students has significant influence on the level of galvanic cell model establishment and model test.The innovation of this study lies in :(1)The questionnaire for measuring the cognitive level of galvanic model of senior high school students is prepared,which provides a new tool for measuring the cognitive level of galvanic model in the future;(2)The conclusions on the influence of model concepts on different levels of model cognition provided a new basis for modeling teaching in the future.
