If a country wants to prosper,it can't achieve without the power of morality,so can everyone.Morality should not only have high pursuit,but also should have a bottom line,which is one of the important dimensions of morality.Morality is an important proposition of Confucianism from beginning to end,and the moral thought of Pre-Qin Confucianism is of pioneering significance compared with later Confucianism.Therefore,studying the bottom line thought of Pre-Qin Confucianism has irreplaceable significance for social ideological and moral education.On the basis of synthesizing the different thinking of “bottom line” in academic circles,this paper makes a rational academic definition of the word “bottom line”.Taking Confucius,Mencius and Xunzi as examples,this paper studies the bottom line thought of Pre-Qin Confucianism by means of literature analysis,historical research,comparative research,etc.,combined with the theory of human nature,long-term historical view and the theory of axial times.This thesis is divided into five parts:The first chapter expounds the background of the bottom line thought of Pre-Qin Confucianism.Economically,productivity and relations of production developed;Politically,social structure changed and class contradictions deepened;Culturally,the relationship between heaven and man changed,and the status of rites and music declined,resulting in the academic prosperity of contending with a hundred schools of thought,which was the social background of the formation of the bottom line thought of Pre-Qin Confucianism.The foundation of Confucianism in the pre-Qin period and its characteristics of advocating etiquette and music order and attaching importance to moral cultivation were the academic conditions for the formation of the bottom line thought of Confucianism in the pre-Qin period.The second chapter represented by Confucius,Mencius and Xunzi,expounds the content of the bottom line thought of pre-Qin Confucianism.The induction of Confucius' bottom line thought is carried out in the dimension of patriarchal clan system.The bottom line of personal morality should avoid the villain's behavior of thinking and doing wrong,the bottom line of family morality should resist the villain's behavior of neglecting family affection,and the bottom line of social morality should despise the villain's behavior of betraying the monarch and deceiving friends.The investigation of Mencius' bottom line thought is carried out from three aspects: politics,economy and ecology.Mencius' bottom line of political ethics attaches importance to morality,and is ashamed of losing morality in politics and behaving contrary to morality.The bottom line of economic ethics attaches importance to caring for the people,and any behavior only disturbs,stirs and hurts the people.The bottom line of ecological ethics attaches importance to caring for all things,and can't refrain from squandering and fishing.The analysis of Xunzi's bottom line thought is based on behavior restriction.In the relationship between heaven and man,it is an act of overstepping the bottom line if man obeys heaven blindly and acts spontaneously.Under the restriction of etiquette,ignoring teachers,sophistry,only profit,abolishing sacrifice and not being happy are all disorderly behaviors that go beyond the bottom line.Under the restriction of “law”,disorderly law,breaking the law and resisting the law are all reckless acts that overstep the bottom line.The third chapter analyzes the orientation and characteristics of the bottom line thought of Pre-Qin Confucianism.People need to know shame and end their bodies with shame;Governance needs to be benevolent,and acting by definition;Honor and disgrace need to be distinguished,but righteousness cannot be ignored,which is the orientation of the bottom line thought of Pre-Qin Confucianism.The bottom line thought of Pre-Qin Confucianism attaches importance to conscious heteronomy and can not indulge;Establish the owner to see the meaning of profit and abandon the righteousness;Emphasis on human relations,opposition to disobedience and lawlessness,and emphasis on idealism.The fourth chapter discusses the value choice and historical influence of the bottom line thought of Pre-Qin Confucianism.The bottom line thought of Pre-Qin Confucianism requires people to make value choices,such as social disorder,morality,personal ambition and behavior.The bottom line thought of Pre-Qin Confucianism had a certain influence on the society at that time.Under the chaotic social order of the collapse of rites and the ruin of happiness at that time,it set a new boundary for people's words and deeds,provided a new basis for people to cultivate their morality and morality,and also flourished with its distinctive characteristics.Pre-Qin Confucianism also had a far-reaching impact on later Confucianism: it provided behavioral basis for later Confucian scholars to cultivate their morality,and also played a vital basic role in the later Confucian ideological model and development path.Later Confucian scholars continued to inherit and expand the Confucian bottom line thought,making it achieve new glory.The fifth chapter is the destination of this paper,which mainly expounds the educational significance and enlightenment of the bottom line thought of Pre-Qin Confucianism.The pre-Qin Confucian bottom line thought has important educational significance,which strengthens our understanding of the importance of bottom line ideological education,helps to enhance the overall efficiency of ideological and moral education,provides a moral education method combining self-discipline with heteronomy,deepens our understanding of history,and develops valuable resources of socialist ideological and moral education.The characteristics of pre-Qin Confucian bottom line thought and its educational significance reveal that we should stimulate the subject's self-consciousness in the process of ideological and moral education,establish and improve the external disciplinary mechanism of education,reform some of the contents of pre-Qin Confucian bottom line thought that fall behind the times to adapt to the spirit of the times,and incorporate realistic factors into the contents of the bottom line thought of contemporary ideological and moral education on the basis of inheriting tradition and bringing forth new ideas.
