Mood is a form of emotion and one of the important factors affecting mental health.Mental health problem of high school students has drawn the attention of the country and the society.Physical exercise has a good effect on the improvement of mental state and mental health, thereby promoting the mental health of high school students.Through the method of literature reviews, expert interviews, questionnaires, experimentation and mathematical statistics,60 high school students(30 boys and 30 girls each)in the second grade of a senior high school in Qingdao were taken as the experimental subjects. The mood states were measured by Profile of Mood State(POMS).According to the total score of TMD,they were divided into experimental group and control group, with 30 students in each group(15students in boys and girls). The high school students in the experimental group received 12 weeks of Tai Chi(Bafa Wubu)practice intervention, while the high school students in the control group only conducted routine physical education in accordance with the “General High School Sports and Health Curriculum Standards”without any additional exercise intervention. The mood states of the two groups of high school students were measured before the experiment, after 6weeks and after the experiment.Through the statistics and analysis of the obtained data to understand and master the changes of mood states of high school students, explore Tai Chi(Bafa Wubu)influence on high school students state of mind,to provide theoretical and practical support for improving the state of mind of high school students and the promotion of Tai Chi(Bafa Wubu)in senior middle schools.Experiment Result:(1)After 6 weeks of the experiment, there was no significant difference between the experimental group and the control group in the state of mind, and there was no significant difference in each emotional dimension. After the experiment, the mood states of high school students in the experimental group and the control group were extremely significant different. There were significant differences in the "tension" "fatigue" "depression" "panic" emotional dimension, there were extremely significant differences in the emotional dimension of "anger",and differences in the emotional dimension of "energy" and "self-related emotions",but there was no significant difference.(2)The mood states of high school students in the experimental group after 6 weeks of the experiment was significantly different from that before the experiment began. There were significant differences in the emotional dimensions of "tension","anger","energy" and "self-related emotions",but no significant differences in the emotional dimensions of "fatigue","depression" and "panic".The mood state of high school students in the experimental group after the experiment is extremely significant different from the mood state before the experiment. There are extremely significant differences in the emotional dimensions of "tension","anger","depression","energy","self-related emotions",and significant differences in the emotional dimensions of "fatigue" and "panic".(3)Before the beginning of the experiment, there was no significant difference in the state of mind between high school boys and girls in the experimental group, and there was no significant difference in each emotional dimension. After 6 weeks of the experiment, there was no significant difference in the state of mind between high school boys and girls in the experimental group, and there was no significant difference in each emotional dimension. Before the end of the experiment, there was still no significant difference in the state of mind between the high school boys and girls in the experimental group, but there was a significant difference in the "tension" emotion, and no significant difference in the other emotional dimensions.Conclusion:(1)After the 12-week experiment, the mood state scores of the two groups of high school students were compared and analyzed. It can be seen that Tai Chi(Bafa Wubu)practice can significantly improve the mood state of high school students.(2)The improvement of mood state of high school students in the experimental group was closely related to the duration of exercise intervention.(3)Tai Chi(Bafa Wubu)practice has no correlation with gender on the improvement of mood state of senior high school students.
