"Mathematics curriculum standard for senior high school(2017 edition,revised in 2020)" points out that "mathematical modeling is the quality of abstracting real problems mathematically,expressing problems with mathematical language and building models to solve problems with mathematical methods".The curriculum standard divides mathematical modeling into one of the core qualities of mathematics.Mathematical modeling can cultivate students' application consciousness and mathematical thinking.In the process of establishing the model,students can realize the significance of learning mathematics and understand the practical application of knowledge.In the curriculum standard,the core literacy of mathematical modeling is divided into three levels.At the same time,it also summarizes the curriculum objectives of the core literacy of mathematical modeling.In the new textbook of 2019,the mathematical modeling section is also compiled.The process of mathematical modeling not only cultivates students to apply mathematical knowledge to solve problems,but also cultivates students' thoughts,attitudes and values.It can be seen that mathematical modeling literacy has a very important impact on students' learning and development,so educators should conduct in-depth research and analysis.Based on the newly revised curriculum standards in 2020,this study uses the methods of literature,interview and questionnaire to investigate four teachers,and interview 204 students in four classes of a high school in Jilin Province.Through the test paper to understand the level of students' mathematical modeling core literacy;through the questionnaire to understand the students' achievement of the curriculum objectives of mathematical modeling core literacy;through interviews with teachers,we can understand teachers' understanding of the core literacy of mathematical modeling and the current situation of teachers' training of students' core literacy of mathematical modeling,and obtain teachers' suggestions on training students' core literacy of mathematical modeling.After investigation,it is found that the cultivation status quo is: the level of students' mathematical modeling core literacy is low,and most of the students do not reach the curriculum goal of mathematical modeling core literacy.The main problems are as follows: 1.The ability of students to solve practical problems with mathematical knowledge is weak;2.Students divide life and study;3.Teachers do not pay enough attention to mathematical modeling activities or theme courses.The factors that lead to these problems are: 1.Students do not have a deep understanding of knowledge;2.Students lack the experience of solving practical problems with mathematical knowledge;3.Students' ability of mathematical abstraction is weak;4.Students do not form the habit of thinking about real life with mathematical thinking;5.Students do not understand the relationship between mathematics and the real world;6.Teachers do not have a deep understanding of mathematical modeling;7.Teachers paid more attention to the cultivation of students' examination ability.According to the survey results,this study analyzes the causes of the current situation of the cultivation of the core literacy of mathematical modeling,and puts forward the corresponding cultivation strategies: to create practical problem situations in daily teaching;pay attention to the combination of mathematical modeling core literacy and college entrance examination evaluation system;organize students to participate in mathematical modeling activities;establishing multiple evaluation system and a design case of mathematical modeling activity is given.The training strategies proposed in this study hope to provide reference for educators,promote teachers to update and improve teaching methods,and help students improve the core literacy of mathematical modeling.
