At present,the development trend of mathematics education reform is paying more and more atte ntion to the embodiment of mathematics application in mathematics curriculum.With the progress of The Times and the development of society,it is required to cultivate students' mathematical modeling ability and learn to solve practical problems with mathematical models.On January 16,2018,the Min istry of Education issued the 2017 edition of the high school mathematics curriculum standards.Altho ugh the importance of mathematical modeling literacy has been emphasized,most front-line teachers have not well realized the importance of developing students' mathematical modeling literacy in prim ary and secondary school teaching,and the teaching effect of developing students' mathematical mode ling literacy in actual teaching is not good.Then,how to develop students' mathematical modeling lite racy in compulsory education and high school?How to teach mathematical modeling in compulsory e ducation and high school?These problems are still troubling the majority of front-line teachers,the de velopment of mathematical modeling literacy encountered obstacles.Therefore,it is very necessary to study the development of students' mathematical modeling literacy in primary and secondary schools.This paper USES the methods such as literature research,investigation method and interview method,mathematical modeling are discussed about literacy theory,on the basis of study of the primary and secondary school students how to develop mathematical modeling accomplishment,not on the basis of curriculum standard and the text analysis,mainly by the knowledge of "function" as an example,summarizes the mathematical modeling ability in mathematics teaching material layout and rendering.Taking the training of students' mathematical modeling literacy in the teaching of"function" knowledge as an example,this paper investigated the teaching and learning status of primary and secondary school teachers' mathematical modeling literacy,and then conducted in-depth interviews with the teachers.The following problems are found:1.Teachers have insufficient understanding of the content of mathematical modeling;2.Teachers have insufficient understanding of mathematical modeling in stages;3.Teachers' evaluation of students is not accurate;4.The creation of teaching situation is not appropriate.Finally,in view of the existing problems,four suggestions are put forward as follows:1.Dig the textbooks deeply and study the course marks;2.Pay attention to the stages of development of mathematical modeling literacy;3.Paying attention to the periodic evaluation of the level of mathematical modeling literacy;4.Create the right context.
