With the deepening of curriculum reform,China's basic education has faced unprecedented challenges.It is also the fundamental requirement for our country to implement the strategy of rejuvenating the country through science and education to cultivate new talents with high-quality education.Mind maps were developed by Tony Barzan based on brain science to help individuals learn more efficiently.Mind map is a kind of visual picture,and its application in the teaching process can deepen students' grasp of the knowledge structure,improve students' learning ability and thinking ability.Through consulting relevant literature,there are few studies on the application of mind mapping in history classroom under the background of new curriculum reform.This paper combines the related theories of mind mapping with case analysis to explore the necessity and advantages of using mind mapping in high school history teaching.Through the skillful use of mind mapping,students can realize the transfer and application of knowledge,so as to improve students' thinking ability and cultivate students' core literacy of history.This paper is divided into the following four parts.The first part,the related overview.This paper expounds the concept,theoretical basis,characteristics,drawing principles of mind map and the differences between it and concept map.The second part,the necessity of using mind map in senior history teaching.The necessity of its use will be analyzed from the aspects of curriculum reform,teaching material structure,teaching status quo and college entrance examination proposition.The third part,the ordinary high school history teaching mind map application teaching case.The application of mind mapping in high school history teaching will be explored from the aspects of teaching case design and teaching case reflection.The fourth part,through the study of the application of mind mapping in high school history teaching put forward relevant suggestions.
