The innovative thinking and ability are important contents in middle-school education,which can reflect in any link of educated activity.This thesis discussed the basic methods of applying mind mapping teaching strategy in high-school teaching of biology history,to improve students' innovative thinking and ability as well as study interest,hoping to provide a reference for front-line teachers' relevant teaching practice.The teaching mode of mind mapping can be applied in teaching practice through the methods such as lecture,group discussion,reading guidance,self-study,etc.The teachers may distribute learning guide before class to students,thus helping them preview the class;they can also encourage students to propose improvement schemes or new questions and solutions.In class teaching,they need to divide students in groups for group discussion and mind mapping drawing,thus effective exercising the cooperative,summarizing and exploring ability of students.What's more,group discussion is helpful to the establishment of students' divergent thinking and the enhancement of their innovative thinking and ability.In teaching,every group picks up a representative to present their study outcomes;the teachers can make comment and feedback immediately.When applying mind mapping into the teaching of scientific history,the teachers should help students to apply this mode into study,to let them understand and master its concept,features and development methods,etc.This will promote the students to develop good habits and reach the students' goal of innovative thinking and ability.The results of relevant tests and interviews showed that,the teaching of high-school biology scientific history may help students set up the scientific attitudes to doubt everything,activate their innovative thinking and increase their innovative ability.Applying mind mapping in the teaching of high-school biology scientific history is an effective approach of enhancinghigh-school students' innovative thinking and ability as well as study interests.
