Mind mapping, also called mental map, is a kind of diagram and the structure of the mesh, used to store, organize, optimize, and output information.Today’s people live in a rapidly changing information age. The nature of human love images, making the visualization quickly swept through the human society. People are more willing to receive information in a visual way. The current high school students are even referred to as "image generation". They are accompanied with image culture, which has a special emotion. Visualization in meeting their aesthetic characteristics and cognitive characteristics at the same time affect the structure and cognitive way of thinking. The inevitable impact of school education, and the procedures of the school curriculum teaching methods are also put forward because of new and higher requirements. Needing more memory and needing to understand the analysis of the high school history teaching face enormous challenges. Existing high school history teaching material project module style, strong leap, and poor timing have caused a lot of difficulties for teaching.Mind mapping has combed memory, creativity, and flexibility of the five basic characteristics, as a new revolutionary tool of thinking, both of which retain the essence of the traditional teaching way, and create a new and effective teaching method. It is well suited for the feature of a great deal of learning and memory in history, deep understanding levels, related wide knowledge, inductive analysis, and high requirements. Application of the tool of thinking enhances the attraction of the high school history teaching, and improve students historical thinking ability. It can effectively achieve 3 d at the same time as the foundation for students’ future development is of great significance. Based on the above thinking, this article discusses the mind mapping in the high school history teaching the necessity and feasibility of application from the demand of the renewal of the teaching concept, subject characteristics, in today’s teaching reflection, students cognitive smoothly and the call of The Times characteristics such as thinking, and through the use of the teaching examples, action research, practice analysis,it demonstrates the feasibility and effectiveness, explores mind mapping in the high school history teaching the application value and it should be noted.This paper tries to be based on the international research advances of mind mapping, through mind mapping in history teaching, the application of inquiry perspective mind mapping plays an important part in teaching and the specific practice of the application of strategy. Rich domestic mind mapping theory and the practice research provides a new visual thinking strategy for high school history teaching. For teachers in history, it provides an effective teaching tool of teaching design and teaching process, in order to make up for the inadequacy of the traditional teaching process, and to improve the level of the study of the theory of the history teacher.This article also hopes through the mind map for the application of knowledge in the high school students to learn history, that it can make the mind map better enhance teaching effectiveness in order to achieve the teaching goal. At the same time, it can expand the approaches of students historical thinking ability and lay the foundation for students’ future development, thus truly achieve the goal of new curriculum of the three dimensional requirements.Effectively applying mind mapping to history class, letting the students in the historical knowledge gain from more historical thinking and the ability to analyze historical issues, are the main research content of this article, and the main innovation place in this place. However, because the level is limited, in the process of research there must be many shortcomings, such as insufficient science, analysis theory and in-depth research, data analysis and comparison of the experimental study of coarse, etc.. These will be constantly trying to be improved in history teaching in the future.
