With the new revision of curriculum standards in China,quality-oriented education has been upgraded to the core quality of the subject.The mathematics curriculum reform aimed at developing the six core qualities of mathematics is being implemented in an all-round way.The new curriculum reform is accompanied by the production of new textbooks.Textbooks are the main carrier of realizing curriculum standards,curriculum concepts and mathematics core accomplishment.The revision and improvement of of textbooks are the important embodiment of curriculum reform,Inequality is one of the required curriculum contents of high school mathematics.According to the new curriculum standards,this part of content is included in the 19th edition of high school mathematics textbooks(compulsory book one).This part of content is indispensable for cultivating students' core literacy of mathematics,such as mathematical operation,logical reasoning and mathematical modeling.Different textbooks have different handling of inequality content.This paper adopts the literature method,comparative method and text analysis method to compare the inequality content in the three editions of the teaching materials of the People's Education A version(PEP A),the People's Education B version(PEP B),and the Beijing Normal University version(BNUV)from the overall part and the specific content.On this basis Suggestions for textbook compilation and mathematics teaching.Comparative research findings on the whole part:(1)PEP A has the most reasonable treatment of basic information,layout design and catalog level.(2)The overall structure of inequality content in the three editions is roughly the same,and the specific structure arrangement in PEP B is the most abundant.Comparative research findings on the whole specific contents:(1)In the selection of knowledge points,the inequality content in the three editions of the textbook contains the same main knowledge points,but there are differences in the treatment of some knowledge points and the content of knowledge points.In terms of course content structure,PEP A is more simple,while PEP B edition is the most carefully.BNUV attaches great importance to the course content structure connecting junior and senior high schools.(2)In terms of chapter import,the three editions of the textbook all contain the most basic chapter title,chapter first picture and chapter guide,and the textbook of PEP B and BNUV also contains chapter quotes.In terms of section import,the section import of inequality content in the three editions of textbooks is all a combination of words and graphics.(3)For the case "quadratic inequality with one variable" are mainly described by intuitive language and mathematical language in the three editions.For the case "proof of basic inequality",PEP A adopts two methods.For the case "solution method of quadratic inequality with one variable",the solution method of PEP B is the most unique.On application presentation,PEP A and BNUE pay attention to the solution of practical application problems,while PEP B pays attention to the expansion of application.On the structural arrangement,inequality content column types are the most abundant in PEP B.(4)In terms of the number of examples,the PEP B is highest from beginning to end.In terms of example design,there are few types of illustration examples in the three editions of textbooks and the distribution is uneven.Only the sample questions in PEP A contain narration.Some PEP A and BNUE each have one example related to other disciplines.On the solution of examples,the three editions of the textbook did not clearly give the word "summary"for the summary content;In BNUE,there are two ways to solve the problems.Moreover,the BNUE has the most kinds of mathematical thought and core accomplishment of mathematical discipline.(5)The total quantity of inequality content in PEP B is much higher than that in the other two editions and the column classification is the most on the whole;In both PEP B and BNUE,there are abundant types of problem sets in inequality section.The exercises of PEP A are the highest comprehensive difficulty;The exercises function in the three editions is not very obvious and there are few functional questions,and the division of questions made up by diagnostic feedback is not very clear.Finally,based on the research,the textbook compilation is proposed:(1)Modify the errors in the textbook,pay attention to the scientificity and rigor of the textbook.(2)Put the solution of the quadratic inequality in one unknown before the basic inequality,and advance the expression of the interval to Among the contents of the representation method of the collection.(3)Suggestions such as optimizing the arrangement of example exercises and adding part of the background of exercises.Put forward to mathematics teaching:(1)Accurately understand the "Curriculum Standards" and master the teaching requirements.(2)Put the solution of quadratic inequalities in one unknown before the basic inequalities,and advance the representation of the interval to the content of the representation of the set.(3)Use more simple application questions to improve students' mathematics application ability and other suggestions.
