At present, researches on left behind children in rural areas pay more attention to parent-child communication, few of them start from left behind children themselves, and the peer communication research on left behind children from low-income families in rural areas is even less. The quality of peer communication of left behind children from low-income families is far lower than that of children of the same age due to the factors of inferiority and autism brought by family economic conditions. How to improve their peer communication ability has become an urgent practical problem to be solved.Due to the cognitive bias, low skill level, weak initiative and strong resistance of left behind children in rural low-income families, their peer communication ability is weak and they are less accepted and respected in peer communication. Therefore, this study will use group work method to help them solve the problems existing in the appeal, improve peer communication ability,so as to achieve the purpose of helping others to help themselves. In this study, questionnaire survey, interview, observation and other methods are used to study the peer communication ability of left behind children from rural low-income families in W primary school. From their point of view, the problems in peer communication are analyzed from their standpoint.Ten left behind children from rural low-income families with weak peer communication ability and strong willingness to participate were selected as service objects.First of all,in the form of group activities, the 10 left behind children from rural low-income families have a correct understanding of interpersonal communication, learn relevant knowledge and skills, use scientific ways and means to communicate with classmates and master the skills of peer communication ability;second, arrange group activities reasonably in three forms of video teaching, game experience, discussion and sharing, and analyze rural low-income families In order to solve the psychological problems of left behind children in income families,we should cultivate their ability of active communication. Finally, through the form of group activities, the left behind children from low-income families in rural areas can develop the habit of helping others, care about the people around them, take the initiative to communicate with their peers and grow up together. From the pre-test and post-test,we can see that the group members' peer communication ability has been improved:they are not so resistant to peer communication, learn to share their feelings with others, and understand the importance of interpersonal communication;they master some expression skills, and learn how to express their ideas;they gradually establish self-confidence,and are willing to take the initiative to communicate with classmates;they get out of the psychological barriers, and no longer stay in self-confidence In the loss of his life,he no longer belittles himself because of his family conditions.Due to the limited time and energy, this study can not design all the demands of the service objects,so only the common and similar aspects are selected in the interactive design and development stage. If conditions permit, the follow-up similar research should appropriately connect the group work method with the case work method, give full play to the role of family and school, fully meet the demands of service objects, and start from an all-round and multi angle to effectively improve the effect of social work.
