Chemistry is a kind of inquiry subject,and inquiry learning is one of the essential learning methods.The Chemistry Curriculum Standard for Senior High School(2017 Edition)put forward to take the development of the core quality of chemistry as the main purpose,Guide the students to understand chemistry problems through the hierarchical,diversified and optional chemistry curriculum and combined with the history of human exploration of matter and its changes.And actively advocate the"teaching,learning,evaluating" integration,so that every student can get a comprehensive development.However,there are still some problems in teaching,such as paying no attention to inquiry learning,single form of teaching evaluation and neglecting the history of chemical.These have a certain hindrance to cultivation of the core quality of the subject and the improvement of student.The purpose of this study integrating the history of chemistry into the 5E Instruction Model(Engage,Explore,Explain,Elaborate,Evaluate),to improve students' interest in learning,strengthen students cognition of chemistry,promote the diversification of teaching evaluation,and gradually cultivate students' core quality of subject.Firstly,the current research status of the 5E teaching model and chemical history were sorted out through literature analysis.Then,based on analysis of the requirements of curriculum reform for students' development,the advantages of 5E teaching model,the scientific value and humanistic value contained in chemistry history,the purpose and significance of the research were clarified,and the research ideas of this paper were determined.Secondly,the theoretical basis related to this study were expounded:constructivism theory,meaningful learning theory and scientific epistemology,investigate and analyze the application of 5E teaching model and chemistry history in chemistry teaching in senior high school through the design of a questionnaire.the model construction of 5E teaching model integrating the history of chemistry was carried out on this basis,the teaching ideas of 5E teaching model integrating the history of chemistry were designed,and the teaching implementation principles and strategies of 5E teaching model integrating the history of chemistry were put forward,Three teaching cases of "scientists' persistence and feelings-ion reaction" "important participants in the information age—silicon and silica" "fertilizer industry technology agricultural green revolution—laboratory treatment of ammonia"were designed.Finally,Through the test paper,questionnaire,teacher-student interview to obtain the effect of teaching evaluation.Draw a conclusion by analyzing the student questionnaire and organizing teacher-student interviews:5E Instruction Model of integrated chemical history could strengthen the application of chemistry history in teaching,enrich students' discipline literacy,promote the richness of 5E instruction model and help students develop good learning quality,indicating that the 5E instruction mode of integrated chemical history has some practical value.
