In modern China,the disabled group is a special and huge number of socially disadvantaged groups.According to the latest data from the China Disabled Persons' Federation,there are more than 85 million disabled people and over 17 million visually impaired people in China.As an important part of the disabled group in rural areas,the visually impaired people's psychological problems have received widespread attention from the society.Due to physical defects,inconveniences caused by life,and the influence of some public prejudices and social discrimination,rural visually impaired persons are more likely to have psychological barriers and confusion,and the detection rate of psychological problems is higher.In addition to having the same psychology as ordinary people,the visually impaired in rural areas also have some psychological problems different from ordinary people because of their vision defects.Rural visually impaired people are more psychologically eager to be respected,accepted and empathized.Organizations and people from all walks of life need to work together to better solve the psychological and social problems of rural visually impaired.This thesis sorts out some relevant researches of domestic and foreign scholars,to lay the groundwork for practical studies.This study conducted a door-to-door questionnaire survey of 80 rural visually impaired persons in three streets in G City and selected 8 representative visually impaired persons for in-depth interviews,and analyzed the strong sense of inferiority and loneliness among rural visually impaired persons.Depression,more paranoid personality,willful and indifferent,excessive sensitivity and suspiciousness,reliance on selfishness,prominent anxiety and tension,and insecurities.The psychology is affected by their own vision defects,family,peer groups,school,and social factors.The impact shows that rural visually impaired people have needs for psychological and emotional counseling,academic problem counseling,improvement of interpersonal skills,and restoration of family parent-child relationships.Through research,the author found that the psychosocial treatment model applied to rural visually impaired mental health services has certain advantages and compatibility.This study took the visually impaired in Village A as a case developed a service plan,provided the client with one-to-one interviews,and used the psychosocial treatment model to intervene in the client's psychological problems.A total of 11 services were provided through five stages.Eventually assist the client to overcome psychological barriers,get out of the early years of school bullying experience,improve self-efficacy,enhance interpersonal skills,restore a healthy,positive and optimistic mental state,and gradually integrate into school and community life to better participate in social life.Finally,this study summarizes the experience from three aspects: respect,listening and empathy skills can effectively and relatively quickly enable social workers to establish professional relationships with rural visually impaired persons;psychosocial treatment model is applied to rural visually impaired mental health services And the construction of a diversified emotional support system plays an important role;social workers need to flexibly adapt their expression skills in the process of interviews and questionnaire surveys.At the same time,there are some shortcomings in this research that are worthy of reflection: the level of professional knowledge of social workers in mental health services needs to be improved;the intervention effect of using the psychosocial therapy model is not deep enough;limited by time and the particularity of the service group,the service target The psychological problems may be easier to reappear.
