Geography curriculum in middle school is a systematic and coherent curriculum system.However,due to the comprehensive influence of various factors,there have connection problems in secondary school geography teaching,which including junior and senior high school.In addition,the new curriculum standards and teaching materials for high school are put into use.So the connection of middle school geography teaching is facing new challenges.Apart from that,as the learning content of the first semester of senior high school,the physical geography connection between junior and senior high school plays an important role in the smooth implementation of geography curriculum in senior high school.Therefore,this paper analyzes the connection in physical geography and senior high school teaching,and tries to put forward the cohesion strategy for senior high school teaching,which will smoothly connect the geography teaching of middle school and has important significance to help students to construct knowledge system.This research is guided by the theory of system,cognitive learning,advanced learning,geography curriculum and teaching and so on.This study uses document research methodology,comparative research method,questionnaire survey method and the method of case analysis and experience summary.Firstly,according to the corresponding relationship of physical geography teaching content(knowledge,literacy)in junior and senior high school,the connection and classification are carried out and the contact points are defined.Next,investigate the current situation and problems of the physical geography teaching in senior high school which smooth cohesion between middle schools in new era.In the end this paper puts forward the strategy which based on senior high school physical geography teaching can promote the connection of junior and senior high school teaching.This study comes to the following three conclusions:first,content analysis,junior high school physical geography teaching content can be divided into two categories,with and without repeated knowledge points.The core literacy of senior high school geography is the integration of three-dimensional objectives.It is feasible to connect the three-dimensional objectives of junior high school and the core literacy of senior high school.Secondly,in terms of investigation and analysis,most of the senior one students have a high rate of forgetting knowledge in junior high school,they don't pay enough attention to geography learning,and they haven't formed a good habit of geography learning;in terms of knowledge learning,the review of "earth map" and "climate type" in junior high school is the most urgent,while "atmosphere on the earth","landform","vegetation and soil" in senior high school is more difficult for students to learn.In terms of core literacy training,junior high school related bedding is uneven,the difference is large.Teachers' attention to the "starting point" of students' knowledge still needs to be improved.Some teachers have applied some ways to promote the cohesion in the teaching process of senior one,but on the whole,high school teachers' attention to teaching cohesion still needs to be improved,and the cultivation of other literacy is easily ignored.Thirdly,in terms of teaching convergence strategy,based on the high school physical geography teaching,teachers should pay attention to the four links of teaching convergence work,including before class,in class,after class and after class.Before class,basic test and comprehensive and meticulous preparation are carried out.In the process of classroom teaching,attention should be paid to the connection of study's ideas,knowledge,literacy and other fields.After class,students should be helped to consolidate and improve in a timely manner.At the same time,communication should be strengthened and teaching should be improved in a timely manner.After class,geography practice activities should be organized to help students cultivate their interest in geography learning in rich and interesting activities which can promote convergence,help student build and improve the knowledge system,infiltrate the core literacy training.
