The teaching of classical Chinese texts is increasingly valued in the primary school Chinese curriculum.Ever since the MOE-compiled primary school Chinese textbooks were put into use,how to effectively teach classical Chinese texts has triggered reflection and discussion among front-line teachers.Based on the selected classical Chinese texts in the MOE-compiled primary school Chinese textbooks,this thesis uses the deep learning theory to examine the teaching of classical Chinese texts in primary schools,pointing out problems and their causes in the current teaching and proposing suggestions on solutions.This thesis consists of the following four parts.Part 1 is an overview of the deep learning theory and the teaching of classical Chinese texts.Based on analyzing the connotations and characteristics of deep learning,the features of classical Chinese texts,and the development history for the teaching of classical Chinese texts,the thesis clarifies that when the deep learning theory is applied to the teaching of primary school classical Chinese texts,it will have important significance for improving the learning efficiency of classical Chinese,promoting knowledge transfer,and arousing interest.Part 2 sorts out the selected classical Chinese texts in the MOE-compiled primary school Chinese textbooks.Also,it summarizes the five characteristics of the selected texts,namely widely-distributed historical periods,diversified sources,mainly stories,being close to life,and a short length.Based on this,this part also analyzes the teaching value of classical Chinese texts.With the help of the deep learning theory,Part 3 designs and analyzes the questionnaires on the teaching of primary school classical Chinese texts,and comprehensively understands the teaching status of primary school classical Chinese texts.Then,this part analyzes the problems in teaching in terms of teaching content,process,and evaluation as well as expansion and transfer,and probes deep into the causes of the problems in the teaching of primary school classical Chinese texts from multiple perspectives such as teachers themselves,curriculum standard,and textbooks.Based on the problems in the teaching of primary school classical Chinese texts,Part 4 puts forward teaching suggestions under the guidance of the deep learning theory.Teachers should prioritize students' existing knowledge and experience and awaken students'individual experiences.In the process of teaching,teachers should take the initiative in organizing read-aloud activities and design interesting learning activities based on the physical and mental development characteristics of primary school students.To promote the transfer and application of knowledge,teachers should plan appropriate transfer training activities and guide students to expand their reading,thereby creating the conditions and environment for knowledge transfer.In teaching evaluation,teachers should emphasize the diversification of evaluation means and subjects and try to evaluate teaching comprehensively and effectively.
