With the development of human society,environmental problems have become more and more serious and is one of the main problems restricting global development.It is urgent to protect the environment,solve environmental problems effectively,and rethink the path of human survival and development.The junior high school stage is a critical period when people’s ideology gradually matures.The knowledge related to environmental issues can be reflected in many places in chemistry textbooks.Integrating environmental education into the learning process of chemistry knowledge can encourage students to observe the relationship between man and nature correctly,and know how to use the chemical knowledge which they have learned,to relate to the actual situation,to deal with the current environmental problems and cultivate environmental awareness.In junior middle school chemistry teaching,various methods can be used to conduct environmental education,so that students can take the initiative to establish environmental protection concepts and a sense of social responsibility in activities.On the basis of consulting relevant documents,this study sorted out the development process of environmental education at home and abroad,and summarized the theoretical basis and implementation methods of environmental education.By issuing questionnaires to some teachers and students of Dadeng Middle School,Liuwudian Middle School,Xindian Middle School,and Experimental School in Xiang’an District,Xiamen,the current situation of environmental education in chemistry teaching in Xiang’an District,Xiamen was analyzed and summarized.The students in Class 3 and Class 4 of Grade 2016 in Dadeng Middle School of Xiamen were selected as the research objects.Class 3 is the experimental class and Class 4 is the control class.Combining the content of environmental education in the ninth grade chemistry textbook published by the People’s Education Edition,based on the "Compulsory Education Chemistry Curriculum Standard(2011 Edition)" and the actual situation of the school,this paper designed various practical activities,and conducted practical research on environmental education in the junior middle school chemistry teaching.After half a year of teaching and research,students in the experimental class are more interested in learning chemistry,and they have established their confidence in learning chemistry well.Students can use chemistry knowledge to solve some environmental problems,form an initial awareness of environmental protection,and establish a sense of social responsibility.In addition,students have also improved their abilities in communication and cooperation,experimental investigation,analysis and induction in practical activities.This paper summarizes the effective ways to infiltrate environmental education in chemistry teaching,reflects on the problems and solutions in the implementation process,the limitations and deficiencies of the infiltration of environmental education,and summarizes and looks forward,which provides a certain reference value to the relevant research in the future.
