As continued efforts are made to advance the cause of reforming the national education system,the concept of quality education to cultivate students' professional core values has been paid increasing attention.The new "Music Curriculum Standard for Fulltime Compulsory Education" clearly states that "the excellent traditional music from all ethnic groups in our country should be taken as the significant teaching content in music course.According to the guidance of the new curriculum criterion,more and more primary and secondary schools integrate national musical instruments into the conventional music teaching.Chinese Zither,as one of the representatives of traditional national musical instruments,because of its profound culture,elegant timbre,easy to learn,stands out from numerous national instruments so that it is most widely applied in music classroom teaching.Learning to play the Zither can develop intelligence,enhance students' national cultural identity,and improve students' musical literacy.However,there still existing plenty of problems that cannot be ignored in today's Zither teaching practice,such as the curriculum system needs to be further improved,students lack of subjective initiative in learning,teachers' professional level is uneven,teaching mode is single and so on.In order to promote the better development of basic Zither teaching,the first-line Zither teachers should be serious to undertake responsibility and obligation to solve these problems,which is also the significance of this study.Taking the Zither Module Course of Zhounan Meixihu Middle School as an example,this paper studies the general problems and countermeasures of basic Zither teaching in the practice of junior Middle school.The paper consists of five chapters.The first chapter mainly expounds the research reason,significance,method and relevant research results at home and abroad to establish the theoretical basis for the research of this paper;The second chapter generalizes Zither teaching in Junior Middle School from the history of Zither and the significance of introduction of Zither teaching in junior middle school music course;The third chapter analyzes the current situation of Zither teaching in junior middle school from aspects of school,student,teacher,parent and lessons through questionnaire survey and case analysis.The fourth chapter summarizes the problems of Zither teaching in junior Middle school,including the imperfect curriculum system at school level,a wide gap in the basis of education at the student level,inadequate allocation of teachers at the teacher level,single classroom model at the teaching level as well as poor targeted contents of materials,etc.Chapter five,aiming at the problem,by combing the author's teaching practice experience,puts forward the effective improvement measures,the way to create a well learning atmosphere to stimulate students' interest and initiative in learning.Schools should improve the professional assessment of the level of teachers,strengthen the construction of teachers,scientifically improve the Zither curriculum system,optimize and enrich Zither teaching model,organize the creation and development of school-based teaching materials.It is hoped that these measures can effectively improve the present situation of Zither teaching and improve the teaching quality and this research is conducive to further deepen the exploration of Zither basic education.
