With all-around development of quality education over these years,China has gained great achievements.From the point of view of the whole society,Chinese people's ideas of education have changed greatly.And in the process,primary and secondary school music education has also made important developments.However,with the continuous promotion of reform and opening up in China,music teaching methods,modes and contents are not suitable for the demand of basic teaching in compulsory education stage in new era.And they cannot adapt to the developing trend and theories of music teaching at home and abroad.As a result,deep research is demanded on how to make the Chinese traditional music teaching serve the national fundamental education more effectively and how to realize the realistic target of cultivating talents in the new historical background.Therefore,the continuous and deep reform of the teaching systems,modes and means has become a key issue in the domestic fundamental education stage.Music education plays a positive role in inheritance of excellent traditional music culture.And the junior high school stage is an important part of the nine-year compulsory education stage.So the Chinese traditional music teaching has played an important part in national music education in our country.We must take proper measures and methods to teach students in the stage.And we should not only carry out the music teaching effectively and actively in junior high school,but also master and understand the practical skills and basic knowledge in this field to carry forward and inherit Chinese excellent music culture.This paper is divided into five parts.Firstly,it gives a description of the research background and current situation of the whole project.Secondly,after a brief introduction of the Chinese traditional music,it uses the form of questionnaire survey to help to understand the situation of music teaching in secondary school in China.After that,it summarizes some problems in present teaching from teachers and students.Thirdly,this paper takes a lesson of Yimeng Mountain Minor in the textbook of People's Music Publishing House as an example to present the teaching class.And it comes to the teaching reflections by comparison and discussion.Finally,it analyzes various problems and teaching experience through the combination of the theories and practice above.Therefore,it may guide the effective teaching of the Chinese traditional music in junior high school.
