With the development of teaching Chinese as a foreign language,Chinese teaching has continued to develop in Thailand.Although the penetration rate of vocational Chinese in Thailand is high,due to the influence of subjective and objective factors,the oral level of students still stays at simple greetings and cannot be expressed in paragraphs.The learning motivation of students needs to be improved.TPRS(Teaching Proficiency through Reading and Storytelling)teaching method is a new teaching method.On the basis of TPR teaching method,it creatively adds cycles of questioning,creating "story",reading and other links,with the help of Teachers' voice and emotion guidance adds comprehensible input for students to help them create meaning,forming a common "story" that belongs to teachers and students in teacher-student Q&A,making the classroom lively and interesting,and at the same time increasing students' opening degree.Aiming at the influence of many factors such as the study habits,characteristics and Chinese teaching arrangements of the students of Sangkha Vocational Education College in Thailand,this article focuses on the cultivation of "speaking" in Chinese teaching.Through the pre-class setting of the TPRS Chinese classroom environment,the "Experiencing Chinese(High School)1)" of the Chinese textbooks are rewritten.Two case studies are used in the class to carry out the basic oral Chinese teaching based on the TPRS teaching method.After class,teachers' evaluations and observations,and student learning evaluations are used to feedback the effect of teaching implementation.The cases are the teaching case of Lesson 5 "Family" in "Experiencing Chinese(High School 1)",and a teaching case based on acupuncture,massage,Tai Chi and other contents in Chinese traditional Chinese medicine culture.Through the research of this article,it is found that the primary oral Chinese course based on the TPRS teaching method can cultivate students' interest in learning Chinese and improve the effect of oral Chinese teaching.However,there are still some aspects such as teaching experience,TPRS classroom operation,cooperation between teachers and students,and teaching materials.Insufficiency needs to be improved.
