With the increasing degree of close contact between people in the modern era,students' oral communication skills have also received more attention.The " Curriculum Standards for Compulsory Education"(2011 edition)emphasizes that oral communication requires the interaction between both parties.The teaching methods based on knowledge of memory and understanding can no longer meet the requirements of curriculum standards and the needs of today's classroom.The application of the activity teaching method in the oral communication classroom not only fully integrates the students' physical and mental characteristics,but also accords with the spirit of the curriculum standards.It also plays an important role in promoting the optimization of teacher teaching and enriching students' emotional experience.However,there are many problems that need to be solved in the application of the activity teaching method in oral communication teaching.In this study,students and teachers from grades three to six in two schools in Xiangzhou District,Zhuhai City were selected as the subjects of the survey to conduct surveys in the form of questionnaires and interviews.Through the analysis of the results of the activity teaching method in primary language Chinese oral communication teaching,It can be seen that the activity teaching method has a stronger effect on students' oral communication ability,but at the same time it also finds that the status of the activities in oral communication teaching needs to be improved;the form of activities in oral communication teaching needs to be expanded;the evaluation in oral communication activities should be diversified;teachers' practice of oral communication teaching needs to be implemented;teachers' understanding of the activity teaching method is not systematic;and the effect of the teacher's application activity teaching method needs to be enhanced.Based on the above findings and in combination with the actual situation,the following suggestions can be put forward for the application of the optimized activity teaching method in primary school Chinese oral communication teaching: First,the teacher needs to allocate teaching content in the oral communication teaching reasonably and enhance the activity in the teaching.Second,teachers should expand students' activities in teaching and explore appropriate types of activities.Third,teachers should improve student evaluation systems to promote students' oral communication skills through appropriate evaluation methods.Fourth,promote teacher evaluation.The reform will enable the implementation of the goal of oral communication teaching.Fifth,teachers should improve their theoretical literacy and enhance their understanding of the activity pedagogy.Sixthly,To improve their research capabilities and lay the foundation for better application of the activity approach,teachers need to combine the theory of activity pedagogy with the actual practice of oral communication and continue to teach in the classroom.
