With the advent of the era of knowledge economy, innovation has become the soul of the knowledge economy and the focus of national development. In the context of open innovation, university research teams need to constantly break through their boundaries and establish contact or cooperation with the outside world to achieve team innovation goals. As the team spokesperson, the team leader's cross-border behavior plays a key role in promoting the development of team members' creativity.Based on the comprehensive application of social cognition theory, this paper builds a cross-level model around the theme of the influence mechanism of team leadership's cross-border behavior on the creativity of members. At the same time, this article also considers that the generation of individual behaviors will be largely affected by internal motivations. In creative activities, creativity self-efficacy is the main manifestation of internal motivations. The cross-border behavior of university research team leaders Whether the influence mechanism of the creativity of the members plays a role through the self-efficacy of creativity is worthy of further investigation. In addition, this article also incorporates the learning goal orientation of members as a moderating variable into the analysis framework to further explore the possible boundary conditions outside the model. In order to verify the above research content, this article uses the research team of major universities in Shanghai as the research object, adopts the research method of questionnaire survey to collect research data extensively, and uses SPSS,AMOS,HLM and other general statistical analysis software to conduct comprehensive statistics on these research data.Qualitative analysis and qualitative testing of research hypotheses finally come to the following conclusions:(1)The cross-border behavior of team leaders has a significant positive effect on the creativity of members;(2)Creative self-efficacy has a relationship between the cross-border behavior of team leaders and the creativity of members.Significant mediating effect;(3)The learning goal orientation has a significant positive regulating effect on the cross-border behavior of team leaders and the self-efficacy of creativity of members. Therefore, this article not only constructs a cross-level integration model, explores the influence mechanism of team leadership's cross-border behavior on member creativity, and expands the leadership perspective of existing creativity research;it also discusses member creation from the perspective of social cognitive theory. The mediating role of force efficacy in team leadership's cross-border behavior and member creativity,as well as the boundary conditions that affect the relationship between team leadership's cross-border behavior and member's creativity and efficacy. In the end,it helps university scientific research management team leaders understand the internal mechanism of the influence of their cross-border behaviors on the creativity of members, and provides a theoretical basis for university administrators on how to improve the creativity of scientific research team members, thereby further broadening the existing relevant theories.
