Integral expression is an important content of the junior middle school stage.In elementary school,students are preliminary understanding with the number of letters.In the simple example,they use letters to indicate equivalent relation,and in the junior middle school stage,more important thing is to understand the integral expression of related concepts,grasp the integral expression of the related laws.This is an important foundation for learning about inequalities equations and functions.As a result,the author took the chapter 9 of the first volume of Grade 7 of Shanghai Education Edition as the carrier,and selected two classes of Grade 7 from a middle school of Xuhui District of Shanghai as the research objects,and studied the following questions through the method of literature examination,paper testing and interview:(1)What is the current situation of integral concept learning for junior high school students?(2)What are the types and causes of the difficulties of junior high school students in the learning process of integral concept?(3)What are the effective strategies of integral concept learning for junior high school students?Based on the SOLO classification theory,this paper divides the knowledge points into four dimensions of single structure,multiple structure,relational structure and abstract structure for detailed analysis,and uses Excel related software to make a statistical analysis of the current situation of students' learning of integral concept.The types of students' conceptual learning difficulties obtained from the investigation include:(1)conceptual understanding error;(2)Symbol error;(3)Calculation error;(4)The writing results are not standard;(5)like the standard algebraic formula.Through the analysis of the types of difficulties,the causes of difficulties are as follows:(1)the influence of old knowledge on new knowledge has negative transfer;(2)the connection between high and low grades;(3)fuzzy understanding of the algorithm;(4)Poor symbol awareness leads to calculation errors.Based on the research results,the next few steps are put forward:(1)Teachers should pay attention to the cultivation and improvement of professional level;(2)When teachers explain the concept of integral form,they should also infiltrate mathematical thoughts;(3)Understand the types and causes of students' difficulties in learning concepts related to integral form,and do a good learning situation analysis;(4)Let the students do the problems,pay attention to details,strengthen the cultivation of students' symbol consciousness;(5)Set up the constructivism teaching view,and promote students to generate concept maps;(6)Create a harmonious classroom by using electronic whiteboards to let students feel concepts in the context;(7)New and old knowledge connection,and what learned in front of the analogy.
