With the advancement of China's education reform,the era of exam-oriented education will be gone,and the current assessment standards tend to require students to master the laws of knowledge and cope with practical problems.The General High School Chemistry Curriculum Standard(2017 edition 2020 revision)also clearly states "to further enhance the overall quality of students and focus on the development of chemical subject literacy." This means that the new educational objectives are a more demanding and heightened challenge,which requires us to break with tradition and embark on a revolutionary period of reform.As a fundamental research tool in chemistry,the educational significance that chemistry experiments can give to students cannot be overstated,and the emergence of innovative experiments can better exploit the advantages of experimental teaching and integrate it into basic teaching in a real way.This study will focus on the development of students' core literacy as proposed in the curriculum standards,and improve and innovate the design of teaching experiments in order to better cultivate "scientific inquiry and innovation awareness",combine the actual needs of students.The specific content of the study is as follows.(1)By analyzing the research on chemistry experimental teaching at home and abroad through the literature method,and to determine the basic research ideas of this paper,combine the research objectives and the actual teaching situation.(2)By analyzing the five core qualities of "scientific investigation and innovation awareness",extract their core ideas,and investigate the actual needs of students in experimental teaching through questionnaires,integrate the findings and build the basic design of innovative experiments.(3)Statistical analysis of the experiments in the compulsory textbook,the "flame test" and "temperature demonstration experiment" were selected for innovative improvement based on the above core elements,while the "food self-heating kit" was used to design an innovative investigation experiment.The three experiments will be validated by experimental methods to ensure their safety,scientific validity and implementable.(4)The basic procedures for teaching innovative experiments are constructed based on "Scientific Inquiry and Creative Awareness",and the teaching ideas for the three innovative experiments are designed.(5)To analysis the effectiveness of the innovative experiments using parallel groups of experiments,and finally to summary the significance of the implementation of the innovative experiments.Teaching practice proves that innovative experimental design can effectively deepen students' "scientific inquiry and innovative consciousness"literacy:(1)innovative experiments can effectively break students' solid understanding of chemical experiments while increasing their interest in learning,fundamentally opening the door for students' "innovative consciousness This opens the door to the development of students' "sense of innovation".(2)Innovative and improved experiments are simpler,greener and easier to implement,delivering green chemistry ideas to students while greatly reducing the difficulty of teaching implementation,providing students with more opportunities to participate in the process of experimental investigation,and prompting students to develop a deeper understanding of"scientific investigation".(3)The overall innovative experimental investigation steps need to be carried out rigorously,and the slightest error is likely to result in results that are thousands of miles away,a process that is highly effective in improving students' 'scientific investigation' literacy.(4)Analysis of the differences in post-test results showed that the innovative experiments were more effective in enhancing students' sense of inquiry and practical application skills,and that the core literacies of chemistry,such as"scientific inquiry and sense of innovation",were more deeply developed in the experimental class.The innovative design of high school chemistry experiments and the appropriate use of innovative experiments in the chemistry classroom can effectively improve students' overall ability and deepen their "scientific inquiry and innovation consciousness",while meeting the conditions of students' basic knowledge learning.
