Experimental teaching is indispensable to carry out the core quality of biology.The biology curriculum standard for senior middle school(2017 edition revised in2020)clearly points out that we should strengthen and improve the biology experiment teaching.To this end,this study compares the experimental contents of the third edition of the Biology Textbook for senior high school with the aim of implementing the concept of the biology curriculum for senior high school and cultivating students;scientific thinking and scientific inquiry ability,this paper provides a reference for teachers to use the experimental contents of the third edition Biology Textbook for senior high school.First of all,using the method of literature research,collecting and sorting out the relevant data,combing the current situation of the experimental content in the comparative textbooks at home and abroad,it is found that the systematic research of the experimental content in the Comparative High School Biology Textbook is relatively lacking in China.In this paper,text analysis,Comparative Study and Case Analysis are used to systematically analyze and compare the experimental contents of the three editions of senior high school biology textbooks.The conclusions are as follows:(1)the experimental columns of the textbooks published by people's Education Press and Shanghai Science press are more traditional,and the experimental columns of the textbooks published by Beijing Normal University press are more diversified;(3)in the aspect of inquiry experiment,the textbook of the People's education press has the link of "further inquiry",which is worth using for reference when using the other two editions of The Textbook;(4)in the aspect of quantitative experiment,the experimental tools used in the textbook of the People's education press are more universal;(5)in the aspect of safety education,The textbook published by the People's Education Press and the textbook published by the Shanghai Science Press are obviously better than the textbook published by the Beijing Normal University.Finally,based on the conclusion,two suggestions are put forward to the textbook editors:(1)to enrich the writing style;(2)to strengthen the safety education.This paper puts forward five suggestions for teachers to use the experimental contents of the three editions of Senior High School Biology Textbooks:(1)integrating the experimental contents with the actual situation;(2)combining the in-class experiment with the out-of-class experiment;(3)transforming the confirmatory experiment into the inquiry experiment appropriately;(4)experiment teaching should be comprehensive;(5)make full use of information technology in experiment teaching.
