Knowledge in science and technology rapidly developing modern society,more and more be taken seriously,the desire for professional talents in growing,the core of school education should pay attention to cultivating students' quality,to meet the development of the students in the future,and all aspects of professional talents for the future of our motherland.In full swing in China under the background of education reform,the high school biology curriculum must comply with the trend,to reform.In order to implement the fundamental task of cultivating people by virtue,the concept of people-oriented education,and deepen the reform of new curriculum,the Ministry of Education launched the revision of curriculum standards of various subjects in senior high schools in December 2014,and issued the Biology Curriculum Standards for General Senior High Schools(2017 Edition)in 2018.Under the guidance of the new curriculum standards,which emphasize on core literacy,and under the national conditions of the rapid development of biological science in China,some scientific terms in the original textbooks are no longer appropriate,and the latest scientific frontier also needs to be updated.under this background,Based on the 2004 edition of biology curriculum textbooks,the biology curriculum textbooks of senior high schools were rearranged and revised by the Research and Development Center of Biology Curriculum Textbooks of People's Education Press.Compared with the 2004 edition,the revised 2019 edition has changed its teaching content,teaching difficulty and course design accordingly.Experimental teaching in biology teaching is not only a feature of subject teaching,but also a basic form of teaching.Based on the research of the old and new curriculum standards,the author compares the specific contents of the experimental part in the compulsory textbook I(2004 edition)and the textbook I(2019 edition).The research object is mainly the teachers in the first grade of high school,and adopts literature research,comparative analysis,interview,questionnaire and other research methods to summarize the similarities and differences between the two textbooks.Deepen teachers in 2019 schools are teaching materials in the understanding and application of experimental section,and is a high school biology teachers in the use of2019 edition teaching material experiment teaching to offer help and advice.In high school biology textbooks,experiments run through the whole teaching content of high school biology.Experimental learning helps to improve students' analytical and comprehensive thinking,comparative and analogy thinking,divergent and concentrated thinking,inductive thinking and innovative thinking in scientific thinking,as well as to understand the basic process of scientific inquiry,which lays a foundation for subsequent personal development.In the research,we found that under the application of the textbooks of the 2003 edition of People's Education,high school biology experiment teaching has been carried out,but there are still many problems,some of which are difficult to carry out in high school biology laboratory due to experimental materials,experimental methods and other reasons.In this study,the author will analyze the comparison between the old and new teaching materials based on the core qualities of biology,namely,scientific thinking,life concept,scientific inquiry and social responsibility.There are the following differences between the new and old teaching materials: 1.The number of experiments in new teaching materials increases and decreases correspondingly.2.The layout of the new textbook is more beautiful,increasing the visual comfort of students.3.The pictures of verification and exploration experiments in the new textbook are increased,and the pictures are clearer and more real.4.In terms of the arrangement of experiment process,the new textbook adds background knowledge introduction before the experiment starts,and knowledge summary after the experiment,so as to make the learning more systematic and facilitate the students to build the knowledge framework.5.As for the experimental content,the2019 edition of the textbook is more detailed,paying attention to details processing and error analysis.6.The new textbook changes a number of "experiment" activities into "inquiry practice" activities,and improves the feasibility of inquiry practice activities,such as incorporating inquiry components into verification experiments.Combined with the survey results,using the 2019 edition of teaching materials for teachers than unused,biological experiment carried out rate increased.It can be seen that the modifications made in the 2019 edition of the textbook compared with the 2004 edition are accepted by most teachers in practice.The modifications made in the experimental part of the2019 edition of the textbook have made a lot of efforts in reflecting the socialist core values,focusing on the core literacy of the discipline,reflecting the unique educational value of biology,and promoting teaching and learning,have made significant improvements in ideological,scientific,epochal and highlighting Chinese characteristics.It really achieves students' interest in learning and teachers' interest in teaching,and has a strong plasticity and openness.By comparing and analyzing the compulsory experimental content of high school biology textbooks in PEP 2004 and PEP 2019,this paper studies the optimization of experimental teaching in the new textbooks,and puts forward the following suggestions for the shortcomings in the compilation of experimental part of the new textbooks:1.Strengthen experimental safety education;2.Innovate experimental methods and materials;3.Expand material learning;4.Mark the source of pictures and respect intellectual property rights.This study can be used as a reference for the development of front-line experimental teaching,the development of school-based curriculum of experimental teaching and the improvement of experimental design by using PEP new textbooks.
