Mathematics is an important course of vocational high school education,among which "reading material" is one of the contents of mathematics textbooks.This part is not only the deepening of mathematics textbooks of text and the extension of knowledge,let students understand mathematics humanities history one of the ways,broaden students' horizons,mathematical knowledge is applied to real life examples,its rich content not only provides a new learning resources,as well as vocational high school know mathematics thought,method,value,It provides an important way to understand the mathematics culture.In textbooks,"reading materials" are presented in the form of pictures or words.Some are short,some are illustrated,and some are interesting.Making good use of it in teaching can stimulate students' learning enthusiasm,improve their mathematical reading ability,cultivate students' ability to apply mathematical knowledge to solve problems in real life,and make students realize that mathematics is everywhere.However,in actual teaching,the column of "reading materials" does not belong to the teaching content required by the syllabus,there is no special class arrangement,and the lack of class hours and other factors,teachers do not pay attention to this column in teaching and students in the learning process.In this paper,according to "reading materials" in vocational high school mathematics textbook setting and related theory,analysis of "reading materials",and through to the ecological environment of ordos vocational college affiliated vocational high schools and dalad vocational high school teachers and students in middle school two 10 of "reading materials" attitude and usage were investigated.In order to improve the research,individual teachers and students were interviewed to understand students' learning attitudes towards this module and teachers' use of this module,so as to find out the reason why "reading materials" were left idle more accurately and put forward corresponding countermeasures more perfectly.Through investigation and analysis of the survey data,it is found that there are several reasons for not paying attention to and leaving "reading materials" idle in mathematics teaching of vocational high schools: teachers' attitudes affect students' use of "reading materials";The recessive teaching function of "reading materials" causes the teachers and students to pay little attention to them;The difficult and difficult contents of "reading materials" affect students' learning enthusiasm;The content of the "reading material" is not closely related to the content of the body;"Reading material" lacks fun;Time limit affects the use of "reading materials";The importance that schools and parents attach to the college entrance examination affects the use of "reading materials".In view of the above reasons,the author puts forward several feasible teaching strategies: as extracurricular reading teaching practice;As the teaching practice of case teaching alone;Creating "reading materials" into "problem situation" into teaching practice.According to the proposed strategies,teaching experiments are carried out and the results are analyzed.Suggestions and suggestions are put forward for the teaching of the column of "reading materials" in vocational high school mathematics textbooks: reducing the difficulty of the content of "reading materials";Set up specialized math courses about vocational high school students' reading,and arrange class hours in the specific teaching process,so that teachers have the opportunity to help students develop their math reading ability;"Reading material" is linked to the exam as part of the exam content;The content of the "reading material" is closely related to the future development of students.
