As a medium,reading material plays an important role in the process of children’s learning and growth.It is a kind of reading material with pictures and words as the expression mode.Because of the particularity of its expression form,it is quite popular in the stage of basic education.Reading materials can be said to be the link between reading and children,the role of children’s growth can be imagined.Reading materials can exercise children’s imagination through pictures or other symbols,and also promote the development of children’s thinking ability and language expression ability.According to the Learning and Development Guide for Children aged 3-6issued by the state in 2012,"Abundant and appropriate reading materials should be provided to cultivate good reading interests and habits." In reading,reading materials play a role in transmitting cultural information,so it is necessary to pay attention to teachers’ delivery of reading materials to the class.L park in Shanghai as the research object,this study on the birth of six class readings on the situation of investigation and analysis,mainly from the kindergarten class readings on the present situation,the kindergarten class readings on the existing problems and influence in the kindergarten class readings on the factors are analyzed.Through field observation,questionnaire survey and interview,it is found that there are still some positive places in the delivery of reading materials in L Kindergarten:the kindergarten has basic material equipment;Teachers recognize the value of reading materials;The subject status of children is respected.Of course,the shortcomings of reading materials in some L kindergartens are also found:kindergartens pay little attention to reading materials;Teachers’ understanding of the reading materials is merely a formality;Children have different needs for reading materials.This study investigated the current situation of class reading materials in L Park of Shanghai.The study found that the process of putting reading materials in L kindergarten was influenced by the kindergarten’s resource reserve,the kindergarten’s emphasis on reading materials,teachers’ professional understanding of reading materials,and children’s physical and mental development characteristics.That is to say,there are many factors affecting the delivery of reading materials in class,not a single one.In order to improve the current situation of the delivery of reading materials in kindergarten classes,we need to consider from many aspects.The theory of cognitive development holds that preschool children should form their own knowledge construction through their experience with reading materials.According to the zone of proximal development theory,children’s existing level and potential level should be considered when placing reading materials.Based on this,the author puts forward some suggestions from kindergarten,teachers and children:kindergarten should pay more attention to reading materials;Teachers should change the concept of reading materials;Stimulate children’s interest and enrich their reading experience.
